Glad ya caught my sarcasm in regards to the I-team.
.
Never seen them do much other than stir up trouble and then move on to the next story.

Hmmmm, a ATS I-team investigation of local news I-teams and the havoc they cause? Sounds like a job for OldCorp.

OK Canada! And what's your average minimum wage? Some of you people are so nearsighted! Do you not see what this will do to everything else in America??? Our wages are NOT GOING UP! HEELLOOOOO!! Its not just about the fuel tanks in our vehicles.....BIG PICTURE HERE!! Its about EVERYTHING ELSE! But obviously I'm talking to people who can't seem to see past their own short-sightedness......so I, done.

Peace Out.

Minimum wage is $10. But I bet people commuting an hour are not making minimum wage. And our housing prices are borderline ridiculous in most places. Add in other costs and Canada isn't the magical place to the North, in fact, a lot of people still trek down to the states to go shopping as most things are cheaper. And were even doing so when the US dollar was worth 1.20-1.50 CAD

Yeah...

I've been paying well over 6$ a gallon for fuel for years now, in Canada, so Americans, please don't complain too loud, it kind of falls on deaf ears over here.

And the average minimum is about 10 bucks now, but that doesn't matter consider our costs of living are way higher for energy, housing, appartments, food and really anything else you can think of.

Quite more expensive.

So the minimum wage issue is a non issue really.

Yes, it is Much More Expensive, even though your Great Country of Canada is sitting on the world’s second-largest oil reserves.
I know you also pay a national health care tax at the pump,,,,,,, Some Thing I'm Sure Obama would like to see take effect here.

Canada is a Beautiful Country, this is true, But you know, I think more oil wells wouldn't hurt you all to much,
I wish I had one in my back yard..Really

or gas to reach $5.00 gal here would mean millions upon millions of Americans basically unable to drive to work, as millions of americans have a 30min - 1hr drive to work....ONE WAY!

Welcome to Canada and yes, our gas is $5 a gallon and yes, many of use drive an hour or more to work everyday.

Rant=over.

Hey Canada, I dont want to hear about your gas prices, or you lack of a recession.

The largest problem; in the gas issue, is they can self regulate and speculate their prices based on futures, not what is actually happening. ALL gas companies have made record quarterly profits in the billions for almost the last 12 years solid. There is absolutely, no reason to complain at anyone other than those; that allow an industry to self regulate when it is something that affects all of us.

How about the high percentage of oil we export? Why not use that to ease burdens?...Oh that's right, they self regulate. Many are scared that if they get regulated then they will leave....well let them leave! It's not like we couldn't create a branch off of the energy department much like the Army Corps of Engineers to run such things. Why the government doesn't run it is beyond me; they will run to fight wars for it but don't want to run it...

Oh, that's right I forgot Bush is an oil man, that's why he wanted war to round out his portfolio on the backs and blood of our troops their families; and other nations. That family needs to answer for so many unjust actions against the American people and the world it's insane...and to think they get to run around scott free; billions richer laughing the whole way to the bank.

You might find this interesting:

1.9 Billion Gallons of Fuel Wasted by U.S. Drivers in Traffic Congestion

A recent study made by the U.S. Treasury Department shows that traffic congestion wasted 1.9 billion gallons of fuel in 2011, almost 5% of the gas used by the American drivers and a loss of $7 billion nationwide. The study also shows that Americans lose about 5 billion hours in traffic, which means a loss of billions of dollars in productivity. The cost of poor quality roads, meanwhile, results in about $400 in added yearly maintenance costs for the typical urban driver.
