Stemming from THIS THREAD started by Starchild23 in regards to have an interpretation service here on ATS I thought it may be time to revamp and update a probably little known thread titled The UFO-Alien Applied Linguistics Registry, the brainchild of Scramjet76.

I propose that we revamp the thread to encompass all of ATS, perhaps sticked at the top of the Freshman and the Board business forums.

The basic gist of the previous version was members would nominate themselves as go-to members for translation of articles and videos for the rest of ATS, since online translations can often be difficult to understand, these members also made themselves available to be PMed if someone required their assistance.

The latest list was updated 5th November 2010 and can be found HERE

I've spoken to Armap who is interested in assisting with the revamp, so now all we need is YOU

Remeber, ATS is all about user generated content and a linguistic thread is very much reliant on the Users of ATS.

Can you help?

Excellent guys, thanks for chipping in.

If you speak a language already mentioned, don't be shy, the more the merrier, it increases our chances of having someone online when needed.

FTR...Unless it's Australian slang, I can't speak another language, so I'm pretty much useless for this exercise!

I also speak some lesser spoken languages, which might not be very useful, but you never know.

Dutch, English, Afrikaans, Xhosa and some Zulu.

Anyone can translate Mandarin/Chinese?

ATS is a great site and it would great if it can attract and reach out to China's mainlanders, to show a side that their propaganda CCP gov aint showing, as well as bring in articles here from the oppressed Chinese People whom are trying to reach out to us.
