look it is definitely a tragedy and I agree assuming he is a thug without evidence is just wrong. Lets say for sake of argument that Martin was a basically good kid no serious problems etc normal teenager. He still made a serious error in choosing to assault Zimmerman. Assault is a crime following someone and calling 911 on them is not that is the bottom line here.

My speculation is Martin got fed up with being followed and confronted Zimmerman aggressively and was beating him up good and got shot for his trouble. He called his girl friend and told her he was being followed when he should have called the cops.

I'm a 27 year old white man that has never committed a crime and just happens to wear a hoodie almost every single day...they are comfortable. I use to go for walks at all hours of the night sometimes to the store, other times just because I felt like it. Nobody ever approached me or asked me what I was doing. You can make your own conclusion of what they may or may not mean.

Honestly Kali I fell for the Stormfront nonsense. I thought I was reading a reputable site (NOT Stormfront) when I came across those photos. I am glad you posted this thread because it does help to point out some of the issues surrounding this case. I thought the picture of him flipping the bird looked 'off', and frankly gold teeth and tattoos really don't mean a damn thing. I am wondering if the twitter account 'NO_LIMIT_NIGGA' is fake as well. As well as some of the Facebook posts.

I don't think the twitter account is fake, but like I said before...that word is not just used by thugs, it is a common word for kid, guy, friend. I don't happen to like it personally but...

Ive learned two things from this event so far. Regardless of whether or not Zimmerman is 100% innocent or not.

1) Anyone who lives in a stand your ground state needs to get a CCW permit and carry at all times. Anyone who doesn't like you can just invite you somewhere private shoot you and punch themselves in the face and technically get away with it..That is very very scary.

2) I can appoint myself neighborhood watch and harass anyone I find in my definition suspicious

If anyone just moves in my sub division or has guests over that are not residents and they are out jogging around 7:15 at night or doing whatever and I think they look suspicious I can follow them while armed the whole time then stopping them and asking them what are they doing in my neighborhood. I dont notice you!!

It's not the account name, but some things that were posted in the account I'm wondering about. I thought that someone had congratulated Trayvon for punching a bus driver. That to me was VERY important in this case. The kids being kids stuff really doesn't matter.

For the record I have a number of tattoos, wear a hoodie at times and would probably post a picture of myself with cheesy gold teeth as a joke.

To be honest I think I was so insulted by the idea that any white man shooting a black person had to be a racist that I got a little racist in a post or two. Not my intent. A thuggish looking/acting young man has as much right to life as the most well dressed.

I still maintain that Trayvon very well could have been shot in self defense, but I am realizing I said some stupid things in past posts about the young man's character that really weren't relevant.

There is a post on that page with photos that claims to be from Martins Twitter account. So that means that those photos along with the account itself are fake? I have no twitter or face book so I cant view that stuff myself.

To be fair here. People claim to have heard a wide variety of things. From 'coon' to '#s' to 'punks' to 'cops' to 'wind' to 'cold'. I personally heard coon, but that means nothing since others heard different.

I'm not sure about the twitter account, I think it was actually his because there's goodbye messages there from his brother and other friends...I can't look at those anymore just to prove some allegation false...one of his brother's still posts to him and I just don't feel like it is my business to watch his grief.

Yeah I saw that the other day, listened to it and think it's too hard to tell. I haven't heard anyone say coon in a racial way in a LOOONG time. Not to say he didn't, but cones makes more sense to me. Goons I have trouble believing too.
