Everyone I know loves at least one of the varieties of Girl Scout Cookies.
I didn't buy any this year because they cost so darn much for the very little bit that you get in each box.

I stumbled across a website today that has homemade recipes though! So for those of you that are like me, Heres the site Homemade Girl Scout Cookie Recipes

Samoas, my favorite! Samoas Recipe

Homemade has to be even better!

I do prefer brownies though.

Cool site.

The Thin Mints are my favorite. But after looking at all the work that is required to make them, I'll stick to buying them.... Besides, it's for a good cause!

Oh yea!!

I love me some Girl Scout Cookies and Samoa's are one of my favs
I have 3 boxes of Thin Mints in my freezer as we speak. I will be making a cake or pie at some point with them. I am still trying to figure out what kind of dessert I want to use them in.

I haven't made GS cookies before but I have made Milano cookies and those things are dangerous to have in the house with milk!

I understand the expensive part, It seems to be years ago you did get more per box than they have now. If my memory serves me correctly they used to come in sleeves of three, now they are in a plastic tray with less cookies.

Guess its a sign of the times. Not really the Girl Scout organizations fault anyway, its the distributor more than anything.
