this is more common that we can even begin to guess I bet. JEsus will deal with them appropriately I'm sure.....I know a guy who attends a church where the pastor has a jet. He claims the guy needs it to properly evangelize. I say if hoofing it around is good enough for the son of God it's good enough for the pastor of any lame old church.

What did jesus say about the rich man and the poor man?
See this is why orthodox monks vow poverty. Power and money corrupts. Period.
Wealth can be toxic to the soul.
We'll at least they are not sacrificing human beings, raping children and drinking blood.

“Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

"Do you see the face on the TV screen
coming at you every Sunday
see that face on the billboard
that man is me
On the cover of the magazine
there's no question why I'm smiling
you buy a piece of paradise
you buy a piece of me
I'll get you everything you wanted
I'll get you everything you need
don't need to believe in hereafter
just believe in me
Cos Jesus he knows me
and he knows I'm right
I've been talking to Jesus all my life
oh yes he knos me
and he knos I'm right
and he's been telling me
everything is alright
Won't find me practising what I'm preaching
won't find me making no sacrifice
but I can get you a pocketful of miracles
if you promise to be good, try to be nice
God will take good care of you
just do as I say, don't do as I do
I'm counting my blessings,
I've found true happiness
cos I'm getting richer, day by day
you can find me in the phone book,
just call my toll free number
you can do it anyway you want
just do it right away
There'll be no doubt in your mind
you'll believe everything I'm saying
if wanna get closer to him
get on your knees and start paying
Cos Jesus he knows me
and he knows I'm right
I've been talking to Jesus all my life
oh yes he knos me
and he knos I'm right
and he's been telling me
everything is alright"
Didn't this already happen? I could swear it happened several years ago
15 And they came to Jerusalem. And he entered the temple and began to drive out those who sold and those who bought in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold pigeons. 16 And he would not allow anyone to carry anything through the temple. 17 And he was teaching them and saying to them, “Is it not written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations’? But you have made it a den of robbers.” 18 And the chief priests and the scribes heard it and were seeking a way to destroy him, for they feared him, because all the crowd was astonished at his teaching. 19 And when evening came they[a] went out of the city.
