Voters have rejected gay marriage in 31 states.

Where is the suport for gay marriage that the pro-gay pressure groups make so much noise about?

Some people are just lazy and don't go out and vote on the issue. It's the haters that come out to vote against it.

Yet 99% of the hate on this thread has been from pro-gay activists who agressively attack anyone who disagrees with them.

The simple truth is, gay marriage has lost the vote in all 31 states where the public have been given the opportunity to vote.

Suck it up.

What actually happened in California - - was a full on scare tactic media blitz - - paid for by the Mormon church - - the week before the original Prop 8 vote.

The media blitz targeted black and Hispanic mothers with school aged children. The media blitz falsely stated if Prop 8 didn't pass - Homosexual Sex would be taught in the primary grades in public school.

I know - - I am here and witnessed it. It was on TV - buses - billboards - - - you name it.

If you look at the demographic of voters for Prop 8 - - - you see an unusually high count for this group.

That and the complacency of people who don't care either way.

Interracial marriages were also rejected in the majority of states, until a case reached the U.S. Supreme Court. The SC ruled that it was unconstitutional to ban interracial marriage, so all states were forced to allow it. Did America come to an end after that? Nope.

Right - - and its only time before Gay Marriage is guaranteed by the Supreme Court.

States Marriage rights are limited.

What I have witnessed on this thread is a full on blitz by pro-gay marriage activists.

Face it. You lost in California. You lost in all 31 states which voted on gay sex marriage. 31 states. Not 1 or 2.

You lost in 31 states.

Deal with it.

Forget being called husband and wife, gay rights group wants 'parties to marriage' in bill to legalise same-sex marriage

Gay rights activists are campaigning to have the words ‘husband’ and ‘wife’ erased from the statute book as part of a bill to legalise same-sex marriage.

Pressure group Stonewall yesterday released a draft bill, intended as a ‘model’ for the Marriage Bill due later this year, calling for spouses to be known as ‘parties to a marriage’ to avoid confusion for homosexual couples.

But come november Obama will STILL be president, newt just opened his racist remarking mouth about the trayvon case, couldn't help himself, this for sure WILL cost him the nomination. I noticed Mitt had the decency to not back newts racist remarks. To think this is what becomes of the soo called Land of the free, home of the brave...... it is NOT. Not when you have racist, homophobic WRONG wingers running to pay off judges so they can have their selfish, self centered, self absorbed, homophobic, treasonous way. It just goes to show WRONG wingers bow to the "church" who helped them rig prop 8. At least JP Morgan stood its ground and TERMINATED all the "vatican's" accounts they had.

like i said my little umpalumpa friend
you have been brainwashed
its natural when you are a teenager, all them feelings and the hormones going like crazy
and i know you have been watching a little to much terminator(though it is a brill film)
lets not get stereotipical on this
gays in the modern world are being recognised
but your asking to much in one go
ffs i want all wars to stop..is that going to happen?

Gay marriage is not a 'human right': European ruling torpedoes Coalition stance

Same-sex marriages are not a human right, European judges have ruled.

Their decision shreds the claim by ministers that gay marriage is a universal human right and that same-sex couples have a right to marry because their mutual commitment is just as strong as that of husbands and wives.

Gay marriage is not a human right.

How is THAT for TRUTH!!!!!

Yeah - - I'm in Los Angeles - - - I know exactly what happened and what is currently going on in CA regarding same sex marriage.

They are taking their time - - making sure all "I's" are dotted and all "T's" are crossed - - - so there won't be anymore "back stepping".

The Pro Gay Marriage lawyers want it to go to the USSC - - - to make Gay Marriage a Constitutional Right in ALL states.

Timing is very crucial. It will happen - - eventually.

The date was 2009 because that is when the vote on gay marriage was held in California.

I take it you don't get out much?

Gays have lost votes in 31 states. In fact they have lost the vote in every one of the 31 states where a vote was held.

The only way they can get same sex marriage on the legislative books is by by-passing the will of the people altogether.

You must be very proud.

If only your aggression and energy was matched by public support.

Law on same-sex marriages mean churches 'will be forced to conduct gay weddings'

A law to allow same-sex marriages will force Christians to conduct gay weddings in church, it was claimed yesterday.

An analysis of equality law by Church of England lawyers suggests assurances from David Cameron and his ministers that no church will be compelled to provide such ceremonies are worthless.

Majority of Britons oppose gay marriage

A government report has revealed that more than half of Britons are against gay marriage, and two thirds are against gay couples adopting children

The research by the Office for National Statistics was based on sources including the annual British Social Attitudes survey and research by the EU's Eurobarometer research arm

There seem to be a lot of people who agree with me.

ollncasino, The date on your soo called article was from 2009. Which means YOUR article is outdated, and holds NO merit on this thread. I hope you see doing RESEARCH goes a very, very, LONG WAY. You might want to remember that detail next time you post an article.

So California didn't vote against gay marriage in 2009?

Because 31 US states didn't vote against gay marriage in the last few months, then it didn't happen?

Gay marriage – why not just have a referendum?

My main objection is that there is no precedent; that marriage has always been, historically, between people of the opposite sex, and linked to procreation.

The fact that, after half a century of government interference, up to a quarter of children now grow up without a father makes it seem a strange time to meddle with the institution.

If the government really wanted to consult the people, why go through this sham of a consultation – why not just have a referendum?

The Telegraph

They won't give the people a vote because they know they will lose.

ollncasino, New Hampshire has NOW made Same - sex marriage LEGAL, So New Hampshire has overturned the ban there too. So more states are getting ready to overturn the ban on same sex marriages. They are falling in line with the NEWEST poll numbers which are over 40% are FOR same sex marriages here in the u.s. . You brits are behind the times still.. seems history is still showing that even now just like it was before when the UNITED STATES was born, the UK was behind even then, as the UK is now too.
