He claimed he was a neighborhood watch captain and he was not.
Carried a gun on his watches when neighborhood watch captains know they are not supposed to.
He has a history of bugging the cops about black people in his neighborhood just because he does not know them. Not white or hispanic people, just black.
We have him on tape saying "#ing coons" and "they always get away with this #"
He was told not to pursue and even said "OK" and then pursued anyway.
He claims the kid was beating him up and he needed to defend himself yet has not one documented injury from the kid that was almost half his weight.

What is your malfunction? You have repeated this post about 50 times. You think you have a witness testimony. We got it. Repeating it is not making it any more valid. Why do you keep posting the exact same thing over and over?

The 9-1-1 call is the only reliable evidence in this case so far. An "eyewitness" account is nothing more than he-said/she-said. The 9-1-1 call cleary demonstrates that the victim was FLEEING. In fact (fact), the 9-1-1 operator states (to the accused murderer) for him to not pursue the victim-to-be. The dispatcher makes it clear that a pursuit is NOT required on his part. Of course, he ignores this and now someone else has unnecessarily entered the afterlife if there is one. This was completely unnecessary. No amount of unvetted "testimony" can change the facts recorded in the 9-1-1 call.

Some of you want to argue this and that detail. You act like somebody that saw a picture of a black person in a National Geographic magazine one time. You obviously haven't spent much time in the field. You obviously have some reason to feel guilty. Is it your privilege, or you're privileged? Oh my, look at them.

I haven't been able to read the entire thread yet, but may I be allowed to call BS on the assumption that a larger person automatically equals a more capable fighter? Size/weight does not denote skills whatsoever, friend, otherwise I would be a champion black belt. Considering the physical fitness differences between athletic types and typical Americans, which of the following seems more logical? A physically fit teenager with quicker reflexes & agility can more adequately defend himself, or a overweight nearly 30 year old? I don't know about you, but I am fairly certain someone half my size in good shape could certainly whip my rump. It is not far-fetched to me to assume the fitter, younger male would be better able to defend himself in a hand-to-hand altercation.

Enough with the "Fat People = Hercules" horse manure. It's a stereotype, not unlike assuming Martin was a gang banger because he was black.

The kid wasn't in a dwelling...so you can't use that defense,

And there is no proof yet that Zimmerman instigated anything.

You don't just jump a guy and start beating him just because he follows you or asks a question...that's insane.

Like I said, it's for the Feds to figure out.

The statutes you posted don't seem to apply to Zimmerman defending himself from a beating if his life was in danger or he felt it was....

Like I said before...if a six foot three guy was on top of me punching me and I was screaming for help and none came, I would shoot hopefully before I lost consciousness.

As far as what you posted....I feel the law is still on zimmermans side, as it is written anyway.

There is no proof, as of yet that he detained Martin....he followed him...he had a right because he lives there...Martin attacked him....as far as we know right now...if that is true he had a right to defend himself.

Just like he had right to ask Martin what he was doing on private property.

He was NOT just walking down any street...he was on PRIVATE PROPERTY and Zimmerman as a part owner of that privat property had a right to ask what he was doing there, no matter what the 911 civilian dispatcher said.

Martin did NOT have the right to punch the guy for asking a question...unless said guy punched him first.

Even if on private property noone has a right to question you. Pretty much only thing they can do is order you to leave.
