North Korea directs missiles towards Australia

So why are the N.Koreans not allowed to launch test missiles? The States does, The UK does, Pakistan, India does, so why the hub bub over N. Korea testing a missile? I dont see the problem?

dont worry the missle janitor accidentally moved it a few inches to the left while giving it its daily polishing. im sure they will swivel it in its proper position when they test it.

Couldn't agree with you more. Throughout the 1900's we (the U.S.) has set up puppet leaders throughout the world, only to have to take them out when agendas do a 180 and deem these puppets a threat. I was indeed serious. As well, sport is sport and all sides deserve equall cheering and respect. I generally stay out of sides debates due to the nature of humans to pick sides. (Our R-Complex loves doing that, its why we have a hierarchical system in all facits of life.) I am still confused why one side is allowed to do testing while another is not? I understand N.Korea has a bad track record for almost everything, but its just a missile test schedualed to crash into the ocean. You can get some pretty advanced hobby rocket kits that have full yaw control, I dont see anyone getting mad at me for sub orbital launches.

American here, and what you've written (which is pretty much in line with world opinion) is the culmination of years of U.S. interference (oops! I meant involvement) in other countries. Well I have to admit I've met a lot of American's who have displayed endless amounts of Arrogance. Most often displayed when questioned critically about a subject (they have most often lacked knowledge on) or when you try to advise logic on a subject, that requires them to physically do something.

My best example of my second point. My cousin playing Black Ops on xbox live. It has a privacy search function which allows you to set how the game match makes. I believe you can have it set to open (joins a game on any host connection locale or abroad), locale (which prioritized local hosts, usually within ones own nation) and Locale only (which will own search for connections within the parameter of locale, not abroad as well). Anyhow to the point. From time to time you'll get Americans who join a lobby. Get in game. Notice the excessive lag and begin to carry on. Then comes the end of the game. Your back in the pre-game lobby. The individual(s) begins to carry on in a childish manner about the lag. We then proceed to explain how they can use the search function.

This is usually met with comments such as, "why should I have to do that it's an American game", "No, you need to get off the wal-mart connection", etc. Either way when they get aggressive over the subject when all you try to do is help. That's when we take offense and tend to dish back just what we're getting for trying to be courteous. I would say you get 1/30 who may not react in such fashion. If they take the time to listen, it makes things better for all. But most the time the filth that comes out of their mouths is nothing short of gun-ho. Most of us Aussies aren't quick to judge. We have enough common sense to know all Americans aren't the same. I think respect, manners and common courtesy are heavily vacant from your younger generations.

Back on to the main topic. Is there a North Korean source firstly. I just think its overly convenient the US is giving us the first notice on this. I don't expect North Korea to pass word on to our government that the test would be taking place. It's just clear if the US atleast has a source. It shouldn't be hard to provide. Unless of course it endangers some covert operations team, but they had no problem identifying Seal team 6's presence in Osama's alledged killing right?

I thought that in WW2, Britain failed to help us, so we then asked for America's help and they actually did help us out; which then resulted in the ANZUS treaty. Am I wrong on that?

The internet brings out the worst in everyone, I played black ops recently on the PC, within 5 minutes everyone was swearing at each other in an Australian server. People's behaviour goes to crap on online games.

That's what the papers and the US administration states. Where is the proof? Should someone perhaps ask the N Koreans if this is the case?

When this sort of intelligence emerges from NK it needs to be accepted as fact until proven otherwise. Their is peoples safety at stake. You might not take that seriously but many do. The NK regime are animals and we need to do everything in out power to stop any threat. If you take NK side you are a terrorist sympathiser.
