Beautiful Time-Lapse Video Shows Stars and Earth From Space Station

I could try to describe it, but words don't do it justice. Enjoy!

From the article where I found the video

Time-lapse of the stars, as viewed from the International Space Station

The International Space Station doesn't just bring us the blues.

In a gorgeous time-lapse video of the stars from low earth orbit, we're given the space station's perspective of our night sky.

NASA astronaut (and amateur photographer) Don Pettit took most of the photos used in the video, which were made available to editor Alex Rivest by The Gateway to Astronaut Photography of Earth, a NASA outreach program.

"Dedicated to those who dream of exploring the solar system, and those who are sharing their experiences while doing it," writes Rivest.

That statement is the truest thing I have read on ATS in a long time, thanks for that.

Just seeing the stars really makes you understand how insignificant we are in this .universe.

Actually, it makes me think about how nothing is insignificant and that everything, no matter how big or small, is sacred.

Dude. Amazing find! It took me a while to find it. What do you suggest it is? Shooting star? Meteorite?
