Yeah, it's another Ron Paul-loving 'Paulbot' thread. Deal with it. I don't care that he hasn't won any primaries, nor do I care that with each passing day his chances at getting the republican nomination wither away. In my book, he's still the only one who will at least stall the globalist takeover of our economy and our personal lives, and at most set course to begin to reverse it.

Most of all, I certainly don't care that if he runs third party, it may very well hand a 2nd term to Obama. As far as I'm concerned, if Ron doesn't run as an independent, Obama will win anyway. Did I say Obama? I meant Romney. Wait.. maybe I meant Obama. OH WAIT, THATS RIGHT, OBAMA AND ROMNEY ARE THE SAME.

You see, I'm writing this from a mindset of defeat and detachment. Exactly what I was afraid of when I decided to get emotionally invested in Ron Paul's run has happened.. he's not going to win (the republican nomination), and it pisses me off. Who do I blame? You, and you, and you, and you.. everybody. I blame my fellow man for being too stupid to understand that, aside from his stances on abortion or federal aid or what it is about Ron Paul that doesn't jive with you, he is the only person even close to running for president any time soon who seems to know anything about the inevitable threat of tyranny. And what with the perpetual state of warfare that we currently have, the personal freedoms that we are being stripped of, the fraudulent stimulation our economy has undergone, tyranny is right around the corner, and thus should be our first and foremost concern at this point.

Despite Ron's lack of primary/caucus wins, and despite the fact that the MSMs dirty belittling trickery has apparently worked to some degree, Ron Paul is still polling neck and neck AGAINST OBAMA. That's because he kills with the independents, the fastest growing political affiliation.

Ron Paul More Electable Than Mitt Romney In Latest Poll

So Ron, I beg of you, don't stop. Run as an independent. I don't care what anyone says about it. This situation is DIRE enough to ride out til the last second. And even if the people that inhabit this country continue to prove themselves to be the fluoride-ridden retards that I presume they are, so be it. At least we can truly say we tried and fought for liberty til the very end

At the point where he is, yes he might as well run independently.

Although, you seriously think he wouldn't get killed if he was president for the people instead of bankers and corporations?

I completely agree with you! Get ready for the barrage of Paul haters to bust through the door in 3....2.....1....

I really can't understand how he isn't winning. Must be the fluoride, like ya said.

I just think it's kind of dumb to wish for Obummer to win again just because your guy is at the bottom...talk about sore losers.

Ron Paul is a fine guy, but all egos aside, I think the most important thing is to get the socialist out.

You should be worrying about your country not your feelings.

You guys act like "Paulbots" are the minority on this site while everyone else hates him. There are like, four of us. And not one of them seem to hate him, they just aren't voting for him. You guys need to get a grip and stop trying to force some kind of perceived persecution on yourselves.

In fact, its the opposite. On this site those who aren't voting for Paul seem to be the ones being persecuted and insulted.

Of course I am wasting my time explaining this.

Well it's simply your opinion that Romney, Santorum, anybody else would be any, literally any better at all than Obama. It's my opinion that they would not

No, I hear you.. of course ATS is a large fanbase for Paul. I think it's just lately it's seemed to even out, maybe because the passionate Paulites (trying to come up with as many names as possible) have possibly lost steam. I know I'm probably guilty of it. In any case, I have noticed that lately there has been more anti-Paul sentiment than, say, 4 months ago. That's also partly why I wrote the rant/thread

If he's willing to find out whether he'd get killed or not, than so am I. I don't mean that in a morbid way. Many people have died in the name of freedom. He knows what he's up against. Trust me, he knows a lot more than he lets on. I'd like to think that if I were in his shoes I'd be willing to risk death to do what was right.

Yeah.. it's something alright. Sometimes I attribute it to fluoride, the mouthpiece media, facebook, prozak, etc etc.. but really it's always been like this. Many historians note that the American revolution was first perpetuated by a minority, not a majority. There's actually reason to be optimistic.. one of the things that prompted me to write this thread was a video on youtube of Ron Paul on the Morton Downey show in 1988. You may have seen it, particularly a hilarious clip where a feisty young Paul tells a chubby dissenter that maybe the government should put him on a diet, since he loves government mandating personal choices. Anyway, the ENTIRE room hates Ron for what he's saying. Literally nobody gets him, or what he's saying. Today, at least a significant portion of the room would be on his side. And even Ron himself talks about speaking engagements with less than 100 people in the audience for most of the last 25 years, when now he's seeing crowds in the thousands (5,000 in Illinois a week or two ago). So I guess I shouldn't be so pessimistic about things. I just feel frustrated because to me, the corruption is SO OBVIOUS at this point, to anybody paying a bit of attention
