I just wanted to remind everyone what the price of war is for America and its future. This picture was found on my Facebook page shared by a friend of mine.

The picture speaks more then I could ever post in words. This is truly sad what is happening in this world.

The child in the picture is suppose to be saluting his father inside the coffin.

If people stopped signing up to the army....there would be no wars.

I know its easier said than done in most cases. When there economic problems, people take jobs they would normally not consider. I think this is why these economic problems are created. To fill the army with cannon fodder, so they can invade and pillage those who cannot protect themselves.

It is a sad world in which we live

We fund the war with our economic policies, tax dollars, and apathy.

war is part of human nature. there was never a time when the human race was truly at peace.

war will be waged in one way or another.

as sad as the result of war is. ridding ourselves of it is imposible

Sometimes a war is needed but it is never wanted. And even though the cost is unbearable, one day there will be peace.

Hopefully soon...

I don't have the same intel that congress has. Saying that from what i know right now, i believe that we are in a war of choice.

The young man pictured in uniform is a worry.
I understand that it is in honor of his father but it also suggests that this is'nt over yet.
It reminds me of these from the "other side"

Setting up the next generation for a massive fail I'm affraid.

This is more on topic with what i was getting at. The next generation is going to be even worse off then my generation. I am 26 years old. Hopefully this generation realizes the cost of ego.
