Methinks you should go back and reread the the overview of Obamacare.

If you have no job, you're screwed, as there is a possibility (still not full worked out as far as the details due to figuring out all the individual exemptions) you will be made to have health insurance (or face gov. fines) even though you can't afford health insurance. And that is called tyranny.

So, if you would like to be an artist or remain in retail, I hope you sell enough of your art or make enough from your employer to pay for health insurance. There will be laws saying you must be provided with access to healthcare and that you have to have it by law or face fines. Nothing about doing something constructive other than feeding a huge amount of money to insurance corporations.

Now, when employed, be that full or part time- and whether or not your employer provides access private insurance - you will be forced to buy insurance... it will not be "cheaply" provided to you via any kind of socialized medical program (like the idea of Medicare for all or a 'single payer system') or gov sponsored private insurance (like the Federal Workers Health Plan)... no, you will be forced by law to buy private insurance from a corporation. And that is called a defacto tax.

Obamacare is little more then a tyrannical defacto tax... and FYI... tyrannical defacto taxes were one of the things which led to the American Revolutionary War and were directly responsible for the infamous Boston Tea Party.

So I guess Obamacare pays my mortgage? Puts food on my table?

If Pelosi is right and I can just quit my job and be "whatever" then I'm all for this utopia.

Somehow I don't think she or Obama will be there to call off their own armed goons for my failure to make good on the tax bill they send me.

I need an income to keep them at bay.

Newsflash Pelosi, health insurance is pretty freaking low on the "why I work" list.

Obcare will FORCE/coherce you to pay into a system that only allows 'care' as deemed fit by the All $eeing Eye, funneling ever more $$$ into the disease racket. Does anyone really want to be FORCED in the first place to pay into THAT???

I think its time to call Nancy's family.

Going to be a long, hard fought battle but im sure with the help of a good interventionist and the love of her family and friends will be what she needs to kick the dope once and for all.

No one in my family has health insurance and we have all been pretty sick. if anything we go to a local clinic and get what we need.

I have a theory.

Right-wingers and conservatives fear Pelosi to a point where there's almost a bitter hatred type of thing going on.

Funny thing is Both Newt and Romney supported the mandate, as the mandate
was the conservative contribution to the concept;

maybe go into woodcraft? pipe sculptures?
WM should be able to supply you with endless creative outlets.
get hurt on the job, and you wont have to wait 2 years for some hospital visits.

I am wondering how a struggling artist with a stay at home wife and 3 small children is going to pay the $600.00 a month health insurance premium? Oh wait, he won't have to, he'll go on state health care. But what if, he makes just enough to not qualify for state aid, how will he then afford those $600.00 a month health insurance premiums? Change professions and become a photographer? Hmmmmm, sounds like a such workable plan to me.
