Is living in a world where cannibalism is an acceptable option really acceptable? Death would be preferable.

Feeding my dog scraps of the food I have/hunt is a much better option than feeding it human meat. Rabbit, bird, squirrel, etc are far better than killing fellow humans to feed my dog.

My old dog used to love the B.A.R.F. diet!

I hear that "table food" isn't that great for dogs if they were raised to eat only dog food. I don't know how true this is but in a survival situation, I'm willing to bet both you and your dog would be willing to eat bugs if necessary (as everyone else except Paris Hilton).

I would be sure that if SHTF, to be prepared to prevent ticks and other blood sucking trolls from hitching a ride on your dog's back. I don't know how well collars work but I hear medication is a good deterrent but also a possible health hazard to your dog.

Oh and I thought this thread was going to be about making dog food edible in the event that such food is the only thing available.
