Buddy, always love your threads. And I don't mean to be the pee in the oatmeal, but. . . . what if Obama PLANNED on having the version of his healthcare nighmare fail?

What if he has something far worse waiting in the wings?

The socialists in San Francisco actually wanted the Canadian Public Option down here.

Reid and Pelosi settled for ObamaCare. It will take awhile but eventually it will run the

healthcare companies out of business.

The good news is that the SCOTUS will throw it out.

You can't force Americans to buy health insurance.

The truth is that the US Constitution has saved us beezer.

I have never seen someone take the bait of the MSM and Republican Party as effectively as you have.

Do you work for them or something?

Oh I agree that it will be thrown out. No doubt about that.

But little things, like his latest Executive Order about utilizing everything in peacetime and in war, concern me.

Just because we've won a battle does not insure that we've won the war.

As the price of gas goes even higher, Obamas approval rating will go below 40%.

When that happens Obama will start doing crazy and bizarre things.

He knows his time is short.

Don't worry. We can undo everything he has done in January 2013.

You're right...they actually CAN'T force you to buy insurance...you will however pay a tax for not doing so. IMO they are not going to strike the law down.

I'm guessing millions of parents now have kids on their own insurance policies...all will have to be dropped...also insurance companies will be able to deny you for a pre-existing condition.

They can't legally fine you for not participating in something that you are free not to.

We will not pay anything. The SCOTUS will throw it out in June 2012.

ObamaCare is garbage.

I have a feeling that the Supreme court is going to keep Obamacare in place. After all, Obamacare is actually a Republican plan....through and through....originally proposed by Nixon....and implemented by Mr. Romney.

Lets just wait until July 2012. I see a 4th of July present to the American people arriving around that date.

God bless America. ObamaCare is gone.

The difference between Romneycare and Obamacare (to use the common terms) is that Romneycare was conducted at a state level with the majority of those in the state wanting it. Ironically, it went broke. A similar experiment occured in Hawaii. It too went broke.

To conduct it on a national level is just asking for a fiscal implosion that would dwarf the Great Depression.

They don't think that far ahead beezzer. They think 10 minutes ahead not 10 years ahead.

Like i said earlier, it's the US constitution that has saved us all.

Obama recently complained that the US constitution is holding him back and

slowing him down.

ObamaCare has the mandate that insurance companies "provide"
coverage for people with pre existing conditions.

Fine, maybe that's one thing good. But.

If people with no job health insurance that DOES cover them,
(job provided plans DO cover pre existing)
What guarantees the people can afford the rates ?

If the government was so concerned, why didn't they simply
come up with some kind of Social Security disability plan ?
Or allow exceptions for Medicaid ?
Or, just put certain cases on Medicare ?

Many people get disability who are not 62 or older.

There must be a scam that we don't know about yet.

ObamaCare = PPACA

PPACA = Piss Poor Attempt without Care for Americans

Ultimately, none of us know what is going to happen. I didn't ask for Obamacare...i would have rather seen a public option put in place...but the insurance and big pharma lobbyists are too powerful in Washington.

Something has to be done to get everyone paying into the same system or prices will continue to explode for all of us. The only other option is to deny people health care.

Another good thing about the bill is that Parents can keep their children on their insurance policies until they are 26 years old. This is good as many people at that age simply think they don't need insurance...then have something happen...and end up with huge bills that they will never be able to pay.

The public favored a public option at the time. Liberals want Medicare part E (everyone)...but in the least a public option to bring prices down.

The votes were never there to do so.

You can't force Americans to buy health insurance.

And you can't deny people when they go into the ER when they don't have health insurance and no way to pay the bills, whether due to hardship or other reasons. That cost has to be made up somewhere....

This insures that prices will continue to explode until no one can afford health care, and the insurance companies are wiped out.

Then what???

I agree that somthing should be done. Our healthcare systm is damaged, but not terminal.

You don't fix a leaky sink by replacing the kitchen. You find out what is causing the leak and stopping it.

Limits on malpractice lawsuits come to mind.
Limits on malpractice insurance also comes to mind.

Hospitals charge so much because they have to PAY so much. Privatize as much as you can, competiion lowers price. Get rid of the non-interstate clause that doesn't allow health insurance to cross state borders.

All are solutions that don't replace the current one.

They (the solutions) just hurt lawyers.

Maybe "some" limits on malpractice lawsuits. People have the right to sue if harm is found to be done. You could get rid of the interstate clause...but it's not going to do much to lower prices if millions of people are still without health insurance and getting bills that they simply cannot pay.

Want to see something funny????? This was not long before Obamacare went into law. Have you seen this one Eurisko????? Romney saying he was for a Federal Mandate...in 2009...WHILE OBAMA WAS IN OFFICE.

Again, I believe that the mandates will stand.
