Can't do that level of math without the almighty ZERO.

I think everyone knows this do they not?

Who knew its purpose was to make Muslim countries feel good about their historic contributions to science?

Well, why shouldn't they?

Let’s just start with the mission NASA Mission Statement...

NASA conducts its work in three principal organizations, called mission directorates:

- Aeronautics: pioneers and proves new flight technologies that improve our ability to explore and which have practical applications on Earth.
- Human Exploration and Operations: focuses on International Space Station operations and human exploration beyond low Earth orbit.
-Science: explores the Earth, solar system and universe beyond; charts the best route of discovery; and reaps the benefits of Earth and space exploration for society.

I see nothing about making Muslims feel better in there at all...

There is already a cabinet level office Secretary of State that handles all international relations. Perhaps we should just let them handle that part shall we?

Is it better to act as if they have done nothing but hate us...seek and destroy is all they know?
Well...might it be somewhat due, in part, to the fact that we (I mean 'christianity' which has become synonymous with the west in their eyes just the same as we see them but in reverse!) violently disrupted their golden age and then put on as if THEY started this age-old altercation...this JIHAD which started with the Crusades...

Maybe seek and destroy is a reaction on their part...and driven along with attitudes that devalue them as HUMAN beings capable of contributing...making it all about the American ability to put men in space....but which would have been impossible if not for the inconspicuous but all important place holder we call ZERO.

All that crap is a huge straw man argument - what does the study of history have to do with any of the mission areas of NASA?

Actually, I have a Masters in History so I find your wikki source a little pedantic and condescending - I am fairly certain those two tidbits of history are well known and in fact I am certain were in my daughter's 5th grade math, history and science books.

Not at all but giving a reach around to Muslim nations so they "feel better" about their role in history is not the role of NASA.

Honestly it’s fairly clear you are being argumentative - I implied none of the things you threw up there in your straw man. I only pointed out the fact that the Chief of NASA did indeed state that the POTUS not only told him to reach out to Muslim Nations and make them feel better that he implied the POTUS made that his foremost mission.

That doesn't seem odd to you that he wanted NASA to focus on a State Department Mission rather than say - things that have to do with space?

Why not make that the mission of Housing and Urban Development too...?

Hell make us all wear t-shirts with "Thanks for math Islam! We can count on you! That would make them feel swell - new law all Americans must were these shirts on Fridays.

Or have us pose for a photo of us in the shirts...from space (yeah that's it) and send autographed copies to all the Mullahs - that would at least have something to do with NASA....being a photo from space.

My Mom saw this yesterday. Since she thinks the likes of Limbaugh, Hannity and that puswad Levine are Gods and knowing this movie has been advertised heavily on Republican radio tells me this is Republican propaganda and I couldn't be paid enough to watch it.

I already know Obama is a piece of crap, I don't need Republican propaganda to tell me that. After this years election fraud by that damned party I can only hope they implode and are never heard from again. Wishful thinking, I know, but they can all go to hell as far as I'm concerned. A movie by Republicans for Republicans, nah, I'll pass.

I refuse to support either of the corrupt parties we have, just for the record. I'm not a leftist, liberal, Democrat or any other label you want to use to flame me.

Sorry, I am unclear as to which party you are referring.

As for both parties being corrupt and rife with lies and propaganda - I agree.

I was referring to the Republican party but yeah, they both are corrupt. It just so happens that the Republicans have showed their true colors this year with the frauds perpetrated to keep RP out of the media and off the ballot. It's gotten my ire up, to say the least.

I am ashamed I actually registered R this year to help RP. That was a joke(I never got the chance to support RP) and giving them even one more person on their books is abhorrent to me.

I'm truly hoping they implode at this convention. They deserve all the crap they get, if it indeed happens.

Well, I didn't mean to insult you at all and I am not being argumentative beyond just hoping to present a side other than the current tendency to present ourselves as justified...compounded by ignoring certain facts and their relation to our present situation.

Perhaps if we DID make certain legitimate concessions, we would not be in such peril...what was that Grandma used to say?

To HAVE a friend...BE a friend.
I think Obama realizes this...I think his agenda is to get the ball rolling toward making things right as far as our global relations with other countries and cultures, etc.

The only solution to peace and ending these jihads and what-not...is to put aside our differences and embrace our commonalities. Both nationally and globally.

It may sound like a bunch of polly-anna BS but it did work for Pollyanna.

Obama and Romney's biggest donor is Goldman Sachs and Goldman Sachs apparently wants Romney, rather than Obama, to win the election. Incidentally, Paul Ryan was also involved in insider trading with Goldman Sachs..

"Typically, in federal elections the candidate that raises the most money wins about 90 percent of the time. In 2008, Barack Obama raised almost twice as much money as John McCain did. 3 of the top 7 donors to Obama's campaign were big Wall Street banks (Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase and Citigroup). Now Wall Street is doing it again. The big Wall Street banks are already trying to buy the 2012 election. So who do they want to win in 2012? Based on contribution patterns so far, the overwhelming favorite of the Wall Street banks to win in 2012 is Mitt Romney. The big Wall Street banks have given to Romney as pile of money that is more than 4 times larger than they have given to anyone else. Even though most Republicans really don't want him, if history is any indication this means that Mitt Romney is going to be the Republican nominee for president in 2012. link"

The rich people, like Goldman Sachs, who own Wall Street have enough money to save the United States, however, it would seem as though Goldman Sachs would rather just pay politicians, like Obama, Romney, and Ryan to cede the U.S. to the U.N.. I don't believe that the owners of Wall Street care about the U.S. as much as it cares about taking American money and, rather than using it to help the U.S., they would rather use it to establish the one world government. ATS

I believe that Goldman Sachs wants to replace Obama with Romney so that Obama can be free to go over to the EU and UN, divide Israel, and give parts of it to the Islamic caliphate via the Palestinians. Obama can then play out his messiah complex since many Muslims will believe, and already do believe, that he is the Mahdi. I believe that Goldman Sachs wants to use Romney to finish ceding the U.S. to the U.N. and to use Obama to gain control and eventually annihilate Islam.

I really want to see this movie. If it proves to be true I will really fear for America's future.

This documentary is based on Dinesh D'Souza's book, "The Roots of Obama's Rage". Although the title is inflammatory, the book itself is respectful to the President, yet merciless in its revelations of his personal philosophy. D'Souza's insights are based upon the President's words & writings as well as exhaustive research and first person accounts. Labeling Ibama as a socialist or a communist is not complete or descriptive, but rabid neo anticolonialism fits him very well & it helps to anticipate his future decisions as well as make sense of past ones.
Know that a vote for Obama is change that is radical and destructive to most American's interests and deeply held beliefs.

I watched the documentary "Dreams From My Real Father" last night. I ran across it while searching for information about this movie. That was an eye opener for sure. I can't wait to see this one,
Obama certainly seems to have some pretty big players against him.
