The US Is Sitting On A 200-Year Supply Of Oil

What makes him/her think they do not know this already and have similar plans?

I spent some time in China, working near one of the oil fields. Not as an employee, I stress.

I was appalled by the blight the "worked out" oil fields presented, a very desolate sight, but I wondered why all the machinery was in place if not needed and new wells were being drilled?

There certainly was a slight smell of something, not overpowering like that of a brewery, but still an aroma in the surrounding areas.

So, is China already saving it's own oil for later?
