How does this Terral guy make it so earthquakes don't happen or happen? Regardless of some guys prediction you have to take into account that....

Chile February 27, 2010 8.8

188 days later…

Christ Church September 04, 2010 7.1

188 days later…

Japan March 11, 2011 9.0

188 days later…

Fiji September 15, 2011 7.3

188 days later…

March 22, 2012

And the fact that there is a huge planetary alignment with several planets, the moon and the sun that day. Jupiter alignments have caused earthquakes in the past.

What is interesting though is that not a single one of those events was predicted despite the "obvious" pattern. Now that they've predicted a new event based on the pattern, mark my words, it will not happen. It never does. People have built some really elaborate theories in the past and "proven" them based on history, but every single time they use their model to predict a future event it never happens. Either that or they point to some ridiculously common event like a 2.0 magnitude earthquake as "fulfillment" of their prediction. The problem with these theories is that they are based on pseudoscience and wishful thinking.

I always take people with a hotmail account super serious!

My primary private email account is a hotmail account. It's the same account that I opened up over a decade ago before gmail or most others were around. Are you saying that you wouldn't take me seriously based on which email provider I use?

Well guess what, back then it was either hotmail..or heaven forbid...yahoo!

Maybe this guys a scam artist, I don't know. Never heard of him. But judging someone on their email provider seems strange to say the least.

I work with emails all day long troubleshooting various problems from all walks of life. I do have to say that an email address is a quick way to stereotype a person. It is occasionally wrong but more often than not it is accurate. Then again I should say that is aligned with their computer knowledge and not knowledge in general.

Absolute garbage. For the record, I work in the IT sector and now that I think about it, if I were trying to "stereotype" someone, or more accurately, profile someone based on their email address I would assume that someone using a hotmail account had been around the internet/computers for longer than someone using a gmail account.

Of course, I'd never do such a thing, because like I said..it's absolute garbage.

EDIT: And maybe I'm reading this wrong, but I get the impression that you're telling me you work in some sort of tech/customer support position. What lofty heights you must look down on hotmail users from. WOW...I'm awed.

You did read that wrong or I didnt give you enough information.
and Relax ... I explained that it isnt a perfect corelation but can be useful in making snap judgements. I even attached a comic. People who have spent a lot of time with computers and the internet specifically tend to move through different emails. Not all but it is a tendency.

I've been waiting for this date since late last year when that douche with the imaginary uncle in prison for insulting Obama started harping on this.

I'm actually giving him until April 1st (lol) before I fill up his inbox with strongly-worded ridicule.

Nibiru, weeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Once more for those not listening, there is no 188 day cycle to earthquakes. Here is the forecast from the 1970 -2012 PDE global eq cataloge centered on the Chilean Quake:

The yellow is the hit for the 188 cycle (note singular), blue is for the closest date to the 188. I allowed a 24hr window, based on UTC time.

The hindcast showed no hits, average days from target, 9. Bad science, if science it be called.

Cheers!

Has anything credible ever come from that site, BeforeItsNews?

Every now and then they hit a home run.

My immediate response to this video was -- Poor guy - I couldn't understand a word he said then I thought "Oh perhaps he's like Rain man" I listened for another 50 secs and decided 'No - It's Pain Man'

But can you tell me via translation, did he get it right?

Email racism!!!
Actually I would view someone with an hotmail account being someone that doesn't change their email every year for various reason which comes from instability.

I think it's great to have the same address, even 20 years later. It shows I have no one to hide from and that I never was stupid enough to get my account hacked.

Sheep's switch to gmail because it's trendy

It's fact if you ignore all the other earthquakes that don't fall within the confines of this 188 day cycle...

Haiti comes to mind.

Going totally off topic here i would just like to say i agree... Hotmail account does almost always automatically show lack of professionalism.

before anyone (as already occured when discussing this) attacks me for my IT situation i have an IT comapny, i grew up as Legacy IT as my Father owned a nationwide IT company, i worked for one of the biggest Mac IT COmpanies in the UK after that for a while and i also work daily at a contract for a Multi national Computer hardware manufacturer as there IT support.

If you want to come accross proffesional people (in IT) expect you to usually not be providing either and Gmail or Hotmail account but an account which holds a domain name - [email protected]

sadly if you send out an email from a hotmail account or Gmail account or Yahoo account people automatically judge the proffesionalism of your company (especially when you can register a web domain froma company then set up webmail for that domain in your name)

now in this case the relativley well known writer on the internet has published a hotmail account it looks both dated and childish when for a tiny fee a proffesional email addy can be achieved.

So yeah off topic i just like to say hotmail accounts dont stand up to much and are overly judged by many businesses IT proffesionals and Internet vetrans. sorry.

Also - this is also the case if you send emails with certain fonts and colour scheme's....

On topic.. well as someone already said i doubt the 188 day prophecy will come true, i would love it too, it means we could hopefully predict other dangerous earthquakes and in theory start looking for signs of these thing about to happen and maybe save lives... but i think we will find another dead theory in two days.
