"The only reason i am standing here is because i've had a blood transfusion"

Their most likely response:

"God wanted you to die"

This was actually said to my grandfather whom is alive today because of one.

I usually just tell them politely that I am in the middle of a demonic seance and was preparing a goat for ritual sacrifice. Then I invite them to come in and participate, that works everytime.

I haven't had them come to my house in several years.

I guess what I'm asking is what I should talk about with them, and any ways to try and reason with them, to see their craziness or otherwise logically box them into a corner.

Please,

Ask away.

I don't think I'm crazy.

I would never be part of a cult.

Pretend you're not home.

This is actually something I would not recommend, they will keep coming back.

You can easily nip them in the bud and say your not interested, or mess with them.

Or actually engage them.

how long have you been a witness?

Jehovah's witnesses know better than to come to my door. The last time they did was about sixteen years ago. It was the Sunday after one of the legendary parties that my friends and I used to have at my sister's house. it was actually her idea, since it was better than risking a load of DUI's. This little old lady in a cheap flowered dress knocks on the door and I get up to answer it. Just before I opened the door, my hangover instantly cleared up (Must have been a dark miracle...) and I noticed three things. That there was a Jehovah's witness at my door, (I saw the stack of Watchtower propaganda pamphlets in her hand.) that their was a big black candle still burning by the front door and that I was naked except for a thin layer of pizza toppings. I smiled real big, took the candle in one hand, opened the door real quick, snatched a wispy hair off of her head and held it over the flame. It made a nice crackling sound as it burned. Then I locked eyes with her and started to laugh, quietly at first but gradually building up to a full-on roaring gale of laughter that startled everyone else in the house, because I don't laugh like that unless I'm about to start trouble. Anyway, the little old Jehovah's witness lady peed herself and fled, scraping her car on the fence in her panic. That's why they know better than to come to my door.

After they come to the door and you answer it and realize it is them just take off all your clothes and then invite them in.

no disrespect, but how is it that one can go that long with devoting their life into something all based on faith. at some point in your life have you not ever questioned the legitimacy of the bible? I know you believe religion outside of yours has been corrupted but how is that yours could possibly have remained untouched?

Here's an idea: what if I answer the door naked, that way they'd REALLY be witnessing something!!?

Jehovah's Witnesses do not believe in the Trinity.

But don't try to get in a logical biblical argument about it with them because you will lose

Invite them in and just chit chat.

No no no no no no... never invite them in. Once they've got their foot in the door... ur toast. That's why they always travel in pairs... for back-up.

Is it the same way as when the wife is always right, even when she is wrong?

Here's the conspiracy: Why recruit more if it's by "special invitation only"? Aren't they weakening their odds to be picked to go to Heaven by recruiting more? Anyhow, my usual answer is abrupt "No thanks, have a nice day" when they come to the door. We are all human, each to their own is just respect. Xenongod

Far as I know Jehovah's Witnesses teach that when they die they will be resurrected to life on earth, and that only the 144,000 will go to heaven.

I would ask the people that come to the door them if they are feeling left out
I certainly wouldn't give them any money
the odds are worse then they are at atlantic city
