America is finished.

Debt collapse, dollar collapse, hyper inflation, endless wars, police state, here we come.

My guess is 4 fold:

1. Monsanto will be granted the sole rights to provide the food (GMO) to the Stamp recipients and thus provide profits to those share holders, many of which are Govt.

2. A delivery system for Big Pharm to work with Monsanto. Sterilization, Fluoride and whatever else is waiting in the wings to deliver a disease or cut our much needed nutrients and vitamins in order to cull the population. Because after all...(see #3)

3. ...If you control the food, you control the people.

4. People will do anything to save their children and will turn against friends and family rather than see little Suzie go hungry

This is just ridiculous. They are spending money promoting a welfare program. Trust me, the leeches already know all about it. Obviously, as stated, they want everyone as dependent on the government as possible so that they have total control. I seriously just can't believe this.

I live in an urban area and watch the food stamp users at work every time I go to the store.

They get lots of junk food, the best cuts of steak,

90% have cell phones, shiny new kicks (as the kids say) and nice new cars.

The problem is there is no personal responsibility or sacrifice.

Priorities people!!!!

Get rid of the luxuries and pay for your food.....

And yes, cell phones are a luxury as are tv's, brand new cars, and name brand clothes.

Life is not fair, not everyone can have fancy things.

I say all promised lobby money for 2012 should be haulted and put into the "give the man a job" fund.

What other choice does the goverment have.

Maybe the answer is to eliminate all (or most) direct welfare completely.

No food stamps, no cash welfare, no unemployment, etc.

(exceptions for extreme handicaps of course)


Most recipients are able to work.
(especially with the high involuntary unemployment)

Most cities have plenty of unattended projects that need labor that the cities don't have the money for.

If the governments set up work details instead of welfare offices, and pay local minimum wages, that would solve the problem.

Even if people only work a few hours a day, that would equal the welfare amounts.

Of course, this would only apply to people who are not disabled or handicapped etc.
(probably the majority of recipients can work "easy" mundane jobs)

Then they could do whatever they want with the money,
and get food cards for a percentage of time worked.

This might actually eliminate much of the corruption.

Even people with kids to watch (a common excuse reason for not working) could participate.
Other participants could watch the kids (many unemployed have licenses for that !)

2nd: While there are of course subsidies to low income families, food stamps are a uniquely american thing. We stopped printing them in the 1950s. Now we give our poor normal money if we subsidize them, and give them the freedom to use however they please. Suprisingly all of them are smart enough to buy enough food.

Sleeping on this, I came to one conclusion, and that is the American people are truly in trouble, when there government starts publicizing "socialist" agendas, that was only inteded for 1% of the population, but now is the new social norm for Americans to make it on a day-to-day basis

Do Not forget that they are the middle-man as well when it comes to anyone that has direct deposit.

Just out of curiosity If a government funded establishment makes someone mentally ill intentionally till the point where they cant work, do you believe knowing that you paid for that to happen to that individual that he should be put down for wanting or getting food-stamps? and if so would you provide further explanation?
