Within my reading and research i have been bookmarking and following some sources to get some information about the world and trying to ignore the MSM sources.
I am creating this thread in case there is someone willing to share and discuss what are the sources they use everyday to try to be aware of whats going on in the world.

Anyone?

those are my biggies...then i compare all the sights to confirm or speculate. Multiple sites reporting on it generally means its legit on those.

Forums for breaking news and opinions.

RT, Edge media tv and Showcase for news and documentries.

Sometimes film 4 channel for the odd film.

MSM is really good though for figuring out what they want you to think about and how they want you to think about it.

For me in no particular order:

ATS, Before Its News, disinfo.com, Vigilant Citizen, Intelhub, The Vatic Project, Truther.org

are the ones I use the most. Cross referencing between the sites is important. As is knowing that despite these being "alternative" news sources there is still a fair amount of censoring going on and many sites will bury or 404 news stories that get too close to the real truth. I speak from personal experience with that having published something that even Before It's News buried deep in their article lists and was not acknowledged or published by other sites.
