I never said anything about making anyone pay for anything. I was merely agreeing with what someone else said about donations. Donations are voluntary. But if that is not what SkepticOverlord and the other site managers want, then it its totally fine. I can understand their reasoning to a point. I have no idea what it takes to run a site like this, I was just making a suggestion, or rather agreeing with someone elses suggestion.

I post on here with a tiny, tiny little netbook with a very small screen and some of the ads really make it hard to navigate the site. Especially the ones that float over the new topics page. It would be okay if those ads had an option to close them, but they don't. I usually skip the main page because the "crown ad" just dominates. Other, than that most of the ads are easy to ignore.
