Put your money where your mouth is. Go burn some bibles in the bible belt.

Greetings from the Bible Belt!

I've heard of a few "demonstrations" over the years that included bible burning and flag burning. No one died.

My father, who served in Vietnam, is a staunch patriot. He despise seeing the flag burned. I once asked why he didn't do something about it (I was 8-9). He told me that freedom meant someone could burn the flag, but he didn't have to like it.

Back on topic. I feel horrible for those who died and there is no justification for their deaths.

At the same time, I know through experience that post-traumatic stress syndrome is a real mental illness. From what I've read, this soldier's unit was rife with problems. Of course I don't know if he's suffering from PTSS, a doc will have to make that call. But if does have PTSS, then he's another victim.

Should he be punished? Absolutey. But put to death- well, I don't believe in the death penalty.

Thats not what Kissinger and the other elite (who you fought for) believe:

[color=limegreen]"Military men are dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns for foreign policy." -- Henry A. Kissinger

"every person I kill takes me further away from home" ...the killing and that what does to a man...

Oh but I am SURE that the elite appreciated your kills against innocent folks including women and children though for their [color=limegreen]"foreign policy" chess game.

It sounds very stupid when you generalize like that.

He has killed women and children because you say so, right?

Yea, I forgot, women and children are NEVER killed by solders.

Yep.

And their superiors NEVER suggest killing women and children if in the way.

Yep.

How can I be so "stupid" to not realize that only the bad boogieman always get killed and never innocent women and children. Golly gee, how did I not see that.

I suppose because it always America that invades other countries and kills brown people by the thousands. Eventually people end up only reacting to the worst killings like this latest one and overlook the ordinary forms of butchery the afghans have suffered.

Would you like me to point out some British war crimes in Iraq that were never complained about on a consistent basis?

How many threads are there for this single incident, now?

Good thing you edited your post. [SNIP]

I did not say that never happens, I pointed out a stupid generalization you made.

This is your line of thinking:

1. "I don't like the foreign policy that policy makers have in place"
2. "I am too lazy to do anything but complain about it on a public forum, even though by doing nothing I am aiding them."
3. "Instead of doing something about it, I will complain and generalize the entire armed forces once the inevitable psychological trauma after over a decade of war gets the best of our troops"
4. "I will condemn all troops even though I know all troops are not the same, instead of the policy makers, because it makes me feel better."
5. "Hey, at least by blaming other people, I don't have to blame myself!"

I am actually against Britain's involvement in these wars and I think Tony Blair lied to us into war. MI5 and MI6 also played their dirty tricks to bully the country to invade Iraq.

British soldiers are aware that even under orders if they commit a war crime and it is exposed, no one will protect them. British soldiers that killed Iraqi civilians have gone to prison for years.

The BBC is reporting this not the whitehouse. An unnamed official is reporting this not Obama. There is more to this story than meets the eye.

Karzhai is angry over the killngs and questions the lone gunman story. However Jay Karney whitehouse spokesshill says Obama and kharzai are "on the same page". The lies never stop.

You think a commanding officer has told a soldier "kill innocent civilians, if their in your way"?

ABSOLUTELY.

You have never served if you have to ask that one.
