So the ATS mantra is "Deny Ignorance."

Ignorance is relative to one's knowledge...and I've encountered a lot of it due to the amount of knowledge I've acquired of late. . An increasing % of my knowledge is "unorthodox" compared to popular/accepted belief and some as a result of extensive travels.A lot is the result of just asking thousands of questions about everyday things we take for granted.

So...for this thread, I would like to hear snappy one-liners you've used against the disparaging comments (In person or online) from others who don't see things the way you do (Whether your view is indeed "ignorant or not") because of ignorance / fear of the unknown.

The best line I have at the moment is:

"Your ignorance is your loss."

"Your fear of the unknown is your loss"

The terrorists hate us for our freedoms, so to battle them, the gov't is going to take away our freedoms.... wait, who are the real terrorists?

If it's on TV, it's not for me.

Maybe the gov't will admit to poisoning you after they've killed you, better late than never.

I'm quite certain that was intended as a one-liner response. A very clever one too.

Onliner but also is a reply

My favourite I read a while back.

'Reading your post I actually felt my IQ dropping'

Yes clever ...for use on ATS, and only ATS.

Nobody outside of ATS...knows what ATS is...so that would never work for 99% of what I am thinking about.
Although I could see how the "Deny in ignorance" part could be used somehow...

come to think of it, a preferred line is one which does not accuse others...as my earlier two lines do...
so maybe:

"Our fear of the unknown is our collective loss."

..sentences incorporating "togetherness"

...if you're commenting here on ATS that is.

Then there's always:

"Jesus Christ! Do you have to remind yourself to breathe?"

"If you had a phallus to match your whopping ignorance, you could go self-copulate."

Not directed at anybody here, but I've used a much more "colorful" version in person.
