Because that is the only way we will come together.

The U.N. has limited power and has done a poor job. We need a one world government where laws would apply to every citizen of the world, and where a person living in Canada has the same rights as a mother living in the poorest country in Africa.

There is absolutely no reason whatsoever that we should have children starving to death because they cannot get even one meal a day, and then in another country we have billionaires just amassing wealth.

It just amazes me how there are a lot of people that are afraid of change. we do not need to isolate ourselves from each other. We need to come together as one. We need radical change. We do not need 200+ countries not agreeing with each other and going to war for stupid reasons. What we need is a global form of government, where the power will not go to a single person. But where the power will be divided and every corner of the world will have an opinion.

We need big change and we need it fast, our current system has failed for too long. So far the only things that it has given us are wars, inequality, and famine.

When someone brings up the term "One World Government" most people go into a defensive state of mind because that's what they have been conditioned to think.

Don't you get it? You think that you know what TPTB want..you probably think that they want us to bring us all together and to put us under their rule. But to me that makes little sense.

Think about it, if they unite us under their "new world order" thing then that will give most of the population an "us against them" mentality where the probability of an uprising would be high.

But if they keep us separated by promoting inequality, and by keeping the current system then we would be falling in their trap. I mean we already have the TSA, everyday it seems we are at bring of war with some country. Israel seems like it wants to attack iran almost every week etc..

We need to bring about this change as soon as possible before it's too late.

Never.
Ever.

Humanity's deepest values are expressed in autonomy, always. Without autonomy human life is meaningless.

Yeah because look at where this "autonomy" has gotten us.

Our planet is being polluted worse than ever before. More people are dying of starvation and diseases every day. Fact is we need to get rid of mindsets such as yours because it's not leading us no where.

The only place it's leading us is towards extinction.

So your solution is to force everyone to be united.

Not going to work in the slightest. Humankind will likely never be united on any front, ever, and we just need to accept that we will likely wipe ourselves out. It happens, it the progression of species.

this has always been an interesting concept to me, because I too, for the most part, feel that the eradication of national borders is the next step in realizing that all is one and we are all responsible for each other. On the other hand, there is the NWO vision of that which is for the few and not the many. I believe there is potential for great light and great darkness from such a system.

depends on the way it's run and with what mindset.

if as a mechanism for control, it's doomed to fail from the start.

if designed to guide us in a direction of self-control and a decent set of morals to go with it, it would work.

everyone would need to be a part of it, for it to work. technocratic demarchy.

a government lottery of the smartest and brightest in their respective fields, given the type of power the people who currently control it wield, and we'd be well on our way.

That's exactly what we need. One government to rule the world without anyone to challenge/stop them.

Sure, sounds great.

The real problem would be, WHO WOULD BE IN CONTROL...

You see how corrupt the system is now, can you imagine how bad it would be if there was a single government.
We can't even make small governments work right, how could we get a global government to work right?

Why do I need a one world government?
I have friends and we all get along.
My neighbors do not attack me nor do theirs.
There are no "warlords" in my neck of the woods and if there were we would deal with them.
Why do I need a one world government?

This pretty much explains small government, bigger would just be worse.

(Edit)
Truly though, I would love a benevolent one world government just like Roddenberry's vision of starfleet.
However, the UN has proven to be most deadly to anyone who has resources or who will not bow down.
So, if we have not achieved world peace, how could we ever have a one world government?
That is putting the horse before the cart, show me 100 years of world peace, then we can reconsider this nwo.
Until then, the thought is silly at the very least.

As long as there are greedy control freaks in the world who plot to deprive others,no "system" is ever going to be perfect. Human beings are not perfect.

There is a rule if everyone followed it,the world would be a "perfect place",and that is the Golden Rule. Doing unto others as you'd have them do unto you.

Communism itself sounds good in theory, but there's a reason why it won't succeed, and that reason is human nature, imo.

you radical free spirits you will rebel just for the sake of rebelling even in a "utopia", look at the big picture how will you end all world conflicts without a one world government overseeing everything......... just not with the current world leaders, TRUTH must be LAW, erase all borders, no taxes, no wars etc the hippies of the sixties would have been my pick for the leaders in a one world government.

You said the words "I" "My" and "Me" at least 6 times

Seriously, stop only thinking about yourself for a bit and for once think about the rest of the world.

Only if greed and corruption are kept out of the doors of the one world government, it can take us on good path. But unfortunately I cannot even remotely hope for that. Greed eats people inside out when they rule on a piece of land, imagine what would happen if they are given the world.

Its just too big to be risked.

I think all a One World Government would do is turn wars into civil wars and economically depressed, crime-ridden countries into bad neighborhoods.

You wanna renegotiate this I we thing?
Ok from now on I will only speak for the only person I am authorized to speak for.
I am doing just fine and I want no nwo.
Did you see what I did there?

You said it way better than I could have.

Communism sucks when it's forced down your throat, but its actually a fair system when it's chosen by the majority willfully (just an example). If things are used for the advancement of responsible self control then they don't destroy what's inherently good about society. We still stick together and have a reason to. I'm really sick of the pessimists who are knocking this concept, they will open their minds soon enough, or start scrubbing floors in the new socialist republic of doom. We have choices... and once we get rewarded for your skills, intelligence and hard work, you may finally get free of this mental prison.

Here's a question. Why do we need to come together?

There are few concepts that I am instinctively more deeply suspicious of, than "unity." Unity to me, doesn't mean anything good. It means being forced under the involuntary, universal, eternal irremoveable rule of a psychopath or group of psychopaths, forever. If you want that, knock yourself out; but personally, I'll pass.

Nobody wants unity as a result of their own initiative or thought process. They only want it either because they have been brainwashed by the cabal to want it, or they are a member of the cabal themselves. In your case, I'm going to assume the former.

A one world government doesn't mean that anything and everything will get solved soon. War, greed, rich, poor, famine, hunger, suppression of truth, inequality- all of them will be intact and in place. And how will you bring in the NWO? When and how and for what?
