Well... as much as every president we have had seems to fall drastically short... I cannot ever imagine voting for a president that bans hardcore pornography. Don't we have more severe problems like poverty, killing innocent people in other countries, having of individual rights stripped from us, paying for illegals and others who are bottom feeders that use the system illegally, high unemployment, toxic food, etc... Is this candidate really that bad?

Man this guy really needs to get his head out his ass. I've never seen any evidence that porn leads to bad behavior in any way. I myself have some pretty dark fetishes and like to explore many of these through porn. I'll even go so far as to say the idea of rape fantasy is intriguing to me on a personal level. However, just because I watch that kind of porn sometimes (which is perfectly legal btw...not real rape...like pretend rape) doesn't mean I go out and rape people. In fact I'm a married man whose only ever slept with four women so far in his life time. I've never cheated on my wife and I certainly don't beat or rape my wife. Although, we have roll played some stuff none of it was actually hurtful in any way. I guess I just don't see any evidence to support his outlandish claims which he is using to try and gain a moral high ground. If anything I would say that porn is a healthy outlet for people that may otherwise have difficulty restraining their darker impulses.

I've read plenty of crazy arguments against Santorum here. Most are correct in suggesting that making it illegal won't solve anything.

There is certainly a problem with porn and how readily accessible it is to anyone these days. So bad that they've had to crack down on people in public libraries surfing porn in the presence of children. What's next adult only computer rooms at my PUBLIC Library funded by my tax dollars? Porn has it's own issues, most of which the Government has regulated where it should. Beyond requiring them to change to a porn only domain there is nothing more that can or should be done other than enforcing the laws on the books. Whatever other issues are up to the consumer to deal with because those are their issues. I personally have no issue with porn or the man in my life viewing it, or viewing it with him. But then again why would I have an issue with it I keep myself fit and don't spend my waking hours making his life miserable. He keeps the porn for nights I don't want to, it is a win-win.

1) I am defending a choice for people to determine their own life. If God did not want choice, we wouldn't have it, period. Jesus did not say "You must all follow me exactly, there is no choice". He requested...suggested..etc. If he was indeed magical, he had the power to force everyone to follow without question. He didn't, you shouldn't either. We have seen crusades in the past, we see buildings falling, because people cannot stop trying to play god and remove the choice from the individuals.
