Yes, I think the guy has been doing drugs for awhile. In his interviews he seemed to be super high and not from the public attention he was getting. There are some suspicious things about his endeavors (not the reality of Kony or the kids), so I think we will learn more negative stuff about the fist pounder.

I always assumed they were the ones pushing it. Why would they want to pull the plug on it? Unless maybe they have an ace up their sleeve, and can sell invading africa to save them under another guise.

Exactly, people need to realize something. We ALL know who he is now, his foundation is doing some good, and in the video he seemed like a great father to his child. So wtf is going on here what drives a detected person and caring father to do this...he seems smarter then drugs. I know most of u hate it when things are turned into a conspiracy but look at this...I know that public humiliation is a key government tool when they want to rid of someone....this is disturbing

This is disturbing, this guy shouldn't be allowed anywhere near children. They are trying to say it was caused by exhaustion and criticism of his film... it looks more like amphetamine psychosis or his MK Ultra programming breaking. This is not normal.

I hope no one takes this the wrong way, but except from acting irrationally he seems to act very stereotypically gay?

You can't help but wonder if he's been closeted (wasn't it a bit over zealous to want nine more kids?) and now he's been afraid to be exposed, with all the attention. Secrets can really stress a person out.

p.s i am very supportive of gay rights, and see nothing wrong with swinging your hands and talking with a feminine voice as a man. it's just when you are married with kids and do it naked in the street in broad daylight, that it makes me puzzled. d.s

Did anyone else noticed that this "breakdown" followed the Al Jazeera report & video about how a charity started screenings of the Kony2012 video in Uganda and it was provoking anger?

el1jah did a thread on that report, Kony screening provokes anger in Uganda. In the video they are offended that people are wearing shirts with Kony's face on it and they are angry that the film does not show them, but a "white man" and that the film is about a NGO (non-government organization) trying to mobilize funds off of the atrocities committed against Northern Ungandans. It ends with rocks being throw and people dispersing.

And today the PM of Unganda has made a video response and tweeted it out to the same 20 celerbites that help spread the Kony2012 video.

And the Youtube description also has a mention of the "Jason Russell incident".

Jason Russell, the 33-year-old co-head of the online campaign, has been hospitalised after being found semi-naked and masturbating in the street in the southern Californian city of San Diego, police and his boss said on Friday.

I know right?? Have you noticed that many of the news outlets will only state that and not the fact he went full on naked (which the videos show). One news outlet defended that by saying that he had his underwear back on by the time the police arrived, so the fact he was naked was "unconfirmed". Also one local news station stated witnesses said a man they thought was his father-in-law approached him and tried to calm him down and that's when he removed his underwear and started 'doing his business'. That's an odd report!!

A witness told police a man believed to be Russell's father-in-law approached him, but Russell became agitated, removed his underwear and then proceeded to masturbate. He then began running into traffic, the witness said. 10news.com

Another thing I noticed this morning, every news story I read about the Kony2012 video, good and bad, had the video embedded, yet this morning when I found the news stories on the Uganda's PM video response, not one had that video embedded. I had to search for it on Youtube.

This whole Kony thing is just craziness to me. The spin is out of control!!

No, I heard that too. Hadn't heard about Siri before, but it is this, right? www.apple.com...

Either part of his psychosis was feeling like his iPhone came alive, or he just found out that Siri is like Skynet and we are all toast (Not a smiley because this story is funny, just to show that I'm not serious. Ok, it is a little bit funny, But mostly tragic).

Isn't it weird that people are not talking more about this here?
On tmz a lot of the commenters seem to now think that it is voodo, or a anti-malaria medicine (after the obvious theories about drugs or ill mental health) that caused the meltdown.
