Cosmic Burst on the Dark Side of Earth

I don't understand why people are saying "it couldn't be from the sun." If a large enough (earth directed) CME or flare was emitted, is there not a possibility that it could hit the dark side of the earth?

After all, it takes some considerable time for the energy from a CME/flare to reach the Earth, right? So, as the flare reaches outward, Earth continues to rotate, and so the energy could hit the dark side?

Am I completely off on this?

So, Earth doesn’t appear to be in the firing line of WR 104 after all…

so maybe WR104 was not the source of the cosmic ray blast in the OP...
but i think this group of ATS thread readers is aware that there are numberous, undiscovered sources for GRBs out there and we really won't know of them until they actually hit

the 'cosmic rays' activity recorded was likely the remnant of some CME from Sol
therefore was not a GRB event from a multiple light-year distant Star, because GRBs & Cosmic Rays are two different things

Brown dwarf stars emit loads of radiation. A star like our Sun burns off much of its energy in the form of light and heat. A brown dwarf emits all of its energy in the form of radiation.

So can it be that this rays from behind where from Nemesis ??

My guess is the same for I think the power of a GRB will repolarise the magnetic field and since magnetism can only excist with positives and a negatives my guess is that magnetism is all around and interconnected between the positive and negative.

The overdose of power that is in a GRB forces the surrounding environment to addapt to that power for the duration of its presence. The biggest part of the wave travelles back to the sun either to the positive or to the negative root depending on the amount of matter the GRB drags from space.
All matter whitin the GRB is GRB and the matter outside the GRB becomes part of the GRB which gives me the thought that earth wasn"t hit at the backside but all over and around, which tells me that the these brouht up here must be that the sun is responsible for this event.

In addition to that I think aerosols and electrical conduction could have an additional effect on the outcomes of a GRB or CME.

I hope to learn from the specialists for I only follow my gutt feeling,my heart and the logic.
