About anything - and everything - whether you can change it or not. And yes, this will be a thread complaining about complaints

-So buy a guitar, teach yourself a few chords and get some time in a recording studio or on a small stage. Ever heard of the Ramones or the Sex Pistols? They could barely play their instruments. Or maybe try this: actually be GOOD at music and become popular and make some changes. You can't just sit back and expect everyone else to do the work for you

-People have been the same - always. People have been rude, racist, violent, rapacious, vapid, murderous, destructive.......and also, beautiful, kind, loving, caring, intelligent, thoughtful and curious, since our creation.
The 50s were not some golden age where men only had sex with women and no one had abortions and we all sang cumbaya together. Get over it.

There are a million other examples, just thought I'd share a few getting under my skin. Anyone else agree?

However, I must point out that people have also complained since the beginning of time aswell. Just another thing we do.

I'm following his lead in this case. Sometimes you're the bug and sometimes, you're the windshield.

I am complaining about your complaining about complaining.

Why can't people complain in peace any more? It used to be people could complain to a sympathetic ear with no worries. Now days it seems every one wants to attack the complainers. Complainers have the right to complain with out fear of judgment or criticism. Complainers are loosing their rights and no one is doing anything about it. If we stop complaining people will be fooled into believing everything from music to putting the toilet paper roll on backwards is ok.

You make a good point, but you also forget that one is not capable of everything in such a short amount as our lifetime. Thus we have to choose a certain path in life, then it seems as someone gets older they seem to gain a certain cynicism about life, but that is only an observation.

My point is just that rather than just being unhappy with something, you can work to change it.

I do agree, I don’t like complainers one bit!! PLEASE people, stop announcing every time you have a head ache, your feet hurt, your tired… WE ALL have the same aches and pains, most of us just don’t feel the need to vocalize it every 15 minutes.

Must say I do agree that a total ban on complaints would not be good. Nothing wrong with the well thought out occasional complaint makers, it’s the habitual whiners that need stifled!

I love complains. I love complaining. I love reading about complaints. Complaining is a pressure valve. Sometimes things wind you up and you need to let it all out. If you don't like that people complain, don't complain about it, do what you preach and handle it your own way.
Its just nice to know that others might have had the same thoughts as you. Complaining has brought likeminded people together and can point out bad habits that may need changing. Its what happens in every society.
Without complaints nothing would ever change for the better because the bad habits would be taken as a norm and set low standards.
