If we're talking about 21st Dec 2012...Then nothing, as it'll most likely be:

Nothing - Just another regular day.

However, following that I think my 3 official scenario choices are

1) Increased Vibrations/4th/5th Dimension Related
2) Polar Shift - Volcanoes/Earthquakes/Tsunamis Related
3) Illuminati/NWO Related

1) Nuclear/Atomic Accident (You can never rule this out, with the amount of nukes around the world currently)
2) Galactic Alignment, Space Related

If Nibiru ( the dream of imagination) is real so all will happen.

To be clear I think all of these could happen. not just one, as I think the three I picked are intrinsically related to each other, and as such cannot be seperated.

Let me explain. the short version:
1)Illuminati/NWO = BAD GUYS and Maybe Demon related.
2)Increased vibrations(4th/5th dimension) are leading to a shift, but how to stop it or keep the highest amount of souls darkened?
3) World war III

so there you have it. Coming on a time that could shape our future for thousands of years, and they don't want it to be a free enlightened one.

these are my thoughts, and none of it can be proven.
I also think that they lose this weird game.

I've tried to cover as many scenarios as possible which are in no particular order. Here are the voting categories for the Doomsday Vote (please pick 3 from below):

3. Other - some other fool will come up with another fairy tale, knowing what we all know: we love to be lured

a suggestion to the folks of ATS: get in touch with me, I've got some pretty good ideas on how to even improve the quality of this website by extending features (allow people to create polls, implement a user-based first level moderation that offers users the option to hide stuff they don't like without taking away the opportunity for others to see that content - only if a certain ratio is reached, mods should intervene, create a system of "following" as a way to deal with the content...). I will not charge for this service :-)

As for the date 12/21/2012 itself…….. just another day. Although it will be treated like the Y2K date the closer we get. The lemmings will come out in droves....
1. The war with Iran will have started prior to 12/21
2. Volcanoes/Earthquakes/Tsunamis Related but no Pole shift
3. Terror attack in the U.S. if Iran is attacked
#3 would then result in Economic Collapse/Martial Law.
If we hold off on attacking Iran then we should be able to kick the can on all the human related possibilities. The solar Flare / Earthquakes are the wild cards.

I would be more prone to dividing it up into two different timelines:

Timeline TPTB are pushing:
Global/Economic Collapse/Martial Law
World War III
Illuminati/NWO Related

Timeline that DOESN'T result in utter destruction/control:
Increased Vibrations/4th/5th Dimension Related
