The Socialist Network | Daily Show (Is Obama a Socialist?)

I love the Daily Show so I wanted to share a recent segment that covered the question, is Obama a socialist? I'm no fan of the Obama and one of the most common negative attacks you'll hear about Obama from his opposition is that he is a socialist. I can think of many reasons to be against Obama and his Administration but socialist isn't one of them that comes to mind. Operation Fast & Furious quickly comes to mind, or the NDAA, so on and so forth.

It's great that you linked a Wikipedia page talking about Marxism but how is Obama a Marxist? Provide some links/sources proving he is a Marxist or whatever.

John Stewert and Frasier are the only T.V. programs I watch anymore. Love 'em.

But from the video you posted all I gathered is that no leader in America, Obama included, is a socialist. The word is just used as rhetoric to further one sides propoganda. If it's not Socialst, it's Marxist, Communist or any other ist that serves the purpose of the person talking.

All of the mudslinging going on is used simply to try to knock people off of whatever mountain they're on so the other side can take their place and get more money and power. That's all. I really don't think there are many politicians left who REALLY care what political affiliation they're with. They only care about how they can further their agenda which is to gain more money and power.

Just my opinion.
