Interesting swarm of earthquakes popping up today. Nothing really big but interesting and I'm guessing that they are aftershocks, but don't know yet.

Please don't assume that everyone knows where Chiba is - members come from many Country's.

I haven't a clue where it is.

What do I need to look it up for you? Obviously you have internet access and can find something by copying the word Chiba or you can type it out like this 'Chiba' and sure enough your trusty computer will let you know where it is.

You can even google it

Yes I could do a search however, for ease of reading when creating a thread please consider this. It happens to often and this means you are forever searching maps etc.,

If it's to much trouble to look into a topic why post in the first place.

Forever searching for maps, google, type in Chiba, it will save you from spending forever.

I'll simply move on to another thread if there isn't enough info provided - I don't expect to do research before reading a thread - I don't mind afterwards if I find I'm still interested. You also need to remember that not everyone has broadband - I do but many don't.

A simple consideration to make!

Update:

Earthquake shakes Tokyo after 1 causes small tsunami in northern Japan, but no damage reported

TOKYO — A series of earthquakes rattled Tokyo and northeastern Japan on Wednesday evening but caused no apparent damage or injury in the same region hit by last year’s devastating tsunami.

The strongest was a magnitude 6.8 that struck off Hokkaido island and generated a small tsunami. Some communities along the northern Pacific coast advised residents to evacuate coastal homes.

A strong earthquake shook northern Japan on Wednesday evening, just days after the one-year anniversary of a devasting earthquake and tsunami. View photos of the aftermath and recovery.

Video
Across Japan on Sunday, people paused at 2:46 p.m., the moment the magnitude-9.0 quake struck a year ago, for moments of silence, prayer and reflection about the enormous losses suffered and monumental tasks ahead.

A swelling of 20 centimeters (8 inches) was observed in water at the port of Hachinohe in Aomori about an hour after the tremor, with smaller changes seen elsewhere. The Meteorological Agency lifted all tsunami advisories within about 90 minutes.

More news coming in from Japan on the recent Earthquakes, small tsunami but no damage. Probably scarred the crap out of them though being close to the anniversary of last years Japan Earthquake in March.
