Thanks for the kudos, here is an update on the church visit, my daughter likes it, and has since gone back twice with the same response. I find that
very good. She now has the chance to experience a religious environment, and gain experience to help her make her choice later in life.
As for the Harry Potter movies-Surprise, she's seen them all, and just as avidly awaited each one as I did( I read the books first). She was even
Hermione Granger for Halloween one year.
IMHO J.K. Rowling is just a writer, who happened to produce an entertaining series of fiction books and movies. So entertaining that millions of
people have read and seen them. Did she have ANY agenda who knows, maybe, but most people who write fiction write about things they enjoy, or that
make them money. To us reader types who read for the sheer enjoyment of it, this hubub about agendas, and evil, and damnation is just a load of
" Now where did I put that last Potter movie, think Ill watch that again"
