An "ethnic minority" posting comments which have incensed the "majority" is inciting racial hatred, it's exactly the same if I posted this vice versa to what's going on in Afghanistan.

So his crime is being brown. What if i as a white person made the same comments, would be that be inciting racial hatred or not?

he uses no racist language, doesn't make any mention of race at all. Seems ridiculous

im happy this jumped up little brat got arrested for spouting racial hatred on social websites.people in the U.K are still very sore regarding radical muslims burning poppies and abusing our soldiers memory on armistice day. nip it in the bud i say cos i know if i went to their country and abused their people i would be punished. these soldiers are doing a job and risking their own lives. in war innocents get killed, bring our soldiers home and let these people wreak havoc amongst themselves.

Totally agree...

The outside world doesn't understand all the problem we have had in recent years with all this hate preaching on our streets being directed at us either, "freedom of speech" is being abused, and the speeches has just got worst & worst and more frequent, to the point where it is no longer just a speech it is flat out HATE, it is spreading like a plague through our communities on both sides and insighting racial tensions,

We have just had enough,

Just look at the S**T we have put up with...

These laws were put in place to PROTECT THE MINORITIES from racial abuse, ie in particular to deny the more extremist doctrines of the BNP having a public platform. It applies both ways though. This isnt about race but about hate speech and intolerance of others and neither will be accepted. Its 2012 for # sake, bigots, racists and religious nut jobs belong in the past, wherever they come from.

No, his crime is not being brown. His crime is spouting comments which were bound to incite racial hatred and by looking at some of the comments, it did. As i explained before, if i was to make the same comments, but vice versa and it offended Afghans in the UK and people got wind of it, then I would be treated exactly the same. The fact he has gone and slandered dead soldiers and hoped for every soldier to burn in hell is more than enough to be considered that. The same way that those scumbags burnt the poppy not so long ago.

If someone makes a complaint to the Fuzzletons, then yes, you will risk arrest.

That's the bottom line, "crimes" like this need a complaint to be investigated. Obviously someone complained about this lads posting, which led to his arrest. If you want to do this "test", send me a link to it and I will make the complaint.

I don't see how this has anything to do with Racism?

Are all the British troops white? what if there is a black trooper or even an afghan trooper?

I would say the same thing(especially on the web) if some assholes comes to my country and start raping and killing civilians like their lives are nothing but "collateral damage".

If I flew into an Arab country and said "Allah is a pig" I'd be whipped and probably stoned to death!

No, you would just be killed on the spot instantly with no mercy.

I agree what we have here is a double standard. It is ok for them to be deviants and no one complains, but if someone does it back to them, the entire planet hers about it.

This is what hypocrisy looks like, unchained and full of pomp.

Okay, found the post on Facebook.

Yes, it was disturbing. But then again, so was the posts made against the young man.
I believe several posts could be labeled inciting violence.

These guys don't just talk about violence. They go abroad and get trained by the Taliban.

MI5: Up to 4,000 UK Muslims trained by Taliban

MI5 has estimated that up to 4,000 British Muslims had travelled to Pakistan and, before the fall of the Taliban, to Afghanistan for military training.

The main concern until now has been about the parts some of them had played in terrorist plots in the UK.

Now there are signs that they are mounting missions against British and Western targets abroad.

www.independent.co.uk...

And they use their training

British Muslims recruited to fight for 'al-Qaeda' in Somalia

Dozens of radicalised British Muslims are being trained by militant Islamists to fight in a “holy war” in Somalia, it can be revealed.
Up to 50 British “volunteers”, including white Christian converts and British-Somali men, have been recruited to fight for Al Shabaab, the al-Qaeda inspired Somali terrorist group.
Intelligence experts believe the British volunteers form the core of an international force of foreign fighters drawn from the United States, Canada, Europe and East Africa.

I lived too in NI, but I will say that the "Para's" are not an "English" division. In fact, they're not even a division, but a brigade and only 1 battalion would deploy..

Niggly point to make, but lets not start tarring the English alone. British troops were in NI and that includes soldiers from Ireland, Scotland and Wales as well as England.

we went there to get AlCIAda and Tim Osman( osama) Who was living in Pakistan. Al CIAda left the Afghan and moved to Iraq then onto Lybia and now Syria. Where next? Well Iran seems a good place for Al CIA da to go to. So what are we doing in the Afghan? I dont know but we are doing a very good job in protecting the opium growers and their crops.
This guy should not be arrested. Hes telling the truth. Inocent Afghans getting murdered and no one seems to care.

OH for the love of GOD!!

He was living in Afghanistan, that is undeniable, the Taliban so much as said they was protecting him, that to is undeniable, you have obviously only recently jumped on the conspiracy world huh? because your outright lying like the rest of you misinformed idiots. hence why we went there, have you totally forgot or are you ignorantly ignoring the facts as all conspiracy nuts and anti west bashers do so often?? do you remember there was a place called Tora Bora mountains? no? ring any bells? you know where Tim Osman run to from Kabul when ISAF forces landed?

Let me guess the reason you said he was never there in Afghanistan is because it fits your lithium addition to the NWO theory
like a book

Yeah so he was in Tora Bora where he made over 100 videos in those very mountains and then he crossed over into the Pakistan tribal region when coalition troops close in and the place was bombed out, theres no denying that my friend,

The reason Al Qaeda are in Libya & Syria is because Al Qaeda was an organization consisting of recruits from every single middle eastern nation, and every single middle eastern nation just recently had a revolution,

Now can we agree on that yes?

Ok now, its obvious you like conspiracy's, so let me ask you this,

Why was Al Qaeda only in Libya & Syria?

Why was there absolutely no Al Qaeda to speak of in Egypt, Tunisia, Bahrain, Yemen & so on?

Why did the leaders of only Libya & Syria not peacefully step down like the other nations leaders did? and without the need to call them Al Qaeda?

Why did only the leaders of Libya & Syria SHOOT the protesters?

Why did ONLY those two leaders call the protester Al Qaeda? when they was having a revolution like the other ME nation did?

Because when your shooting Al Qaeda and not you own people/innocent protesters it makes it sort of OK to shoot your own people to stay in power, eradicating the problem in bloodshed, your lies & conspiracy's are sickening,

Of course there will be Al Qaeda in the bloody rebel alliance otherly know as "the innocent protesters" being force to fight, they bloody well live there, that is not to say they're still Al Qaeda with Al Qaeda motives, thats absolutely ridiculous, do you think it is acceptable behavior? or is it because your anti west? would it of been ok for Obama to have ordered the killing of occupy wall street protesters for wanting change? because that is exactly what you are saying & supporting my friend. utter wrongness, pathetic

Iron jack , I did not say that I wanted the soldiers to burn in hell !
you managed to read all of the posts so far , so why did you neglect to read
the part of my post where I stated I was not in agreement with our soldiers
being there , I didnt agree with them "burning in hell"

and to that I say shut up man

Stu , shall we do a test ? can I openly criticize our government or armed forces, without naming names
and then be arrested for it , because someone complains about it .
How can someone taking offense to an opinion be a crime ?

prepare to see our jails swell with criminally opinionated britons ! the country is full of us

I know it would most likely result in me being questioned by the police.
I would like to test it , however I really cant be bothered with the hassle from the police
at the moment especially as Im currently house moving

Also , this one case amongst many others is a step in the direction the americans are taking
to limit our freedoms online and to curtail our freedoms of speech , to suppress our indiviuality
and our opinions.

How dare you question anything our government or military does
without suffering a complaint followed by a criminal court action and charge maybe even a wee jail sentence
for your insubordination.

Sooo.. Non-Muslim lives are worth more than Muslim ones? Can you explain this logically to me? Can you explain using logic why the deaths of Invading British soldiers are more worthy of attention than Afghan Civilians?

Would you care more about your mother dying in a car accident or a complete stranger? British people caring more about British death's in Afghanistan is common sense. Just as i'm sure the Afghani's care more when it's there people dying. Why you feel the need to push religion into an argument of basic human nature is rather telling i think.

Being critical isn't a crime and I think many here are confused about what is right and wrong, in law.

For example, you can say "I hate the Government, bunch of self-serving pigs. The Army too, bunch of murdering bastards". That is fine.

However, if you said "I hate the Government, I want them all dead and to see them burn. All British soldiers should be strung up by their gonads and beaten to death", that is of questinable legality. It is tanatamount to incitement, even though there is no explicit threat from yourself, it can be inferred that such language is likely to incite someone else.

It does all boil down, at the end of the day, to whether the Police can prove an intent to incite hatred/violence. This is only the first hurdle, as the CPS will require some significant evidence to even begin to prosecute. Then, once it gets to Court, the prosecution must convince 12 members of the public, which is another feat entirely.

Chances are, this scrote will get let off with a caution, maximum. More than likely though, the CPS will not take it on as it "isn't in the public interest" and evidence of actual incitement is minimal.

If you still wish to do the test though, I'm game. Could be an interesting exercise, albeit one that disrupts your life (and mine too, I'd imagine)

I've read most of "1984". Should probably try and finish it now that I'm older.

Let's switch roles and say that it was the same person but they complained about U.S soldiers. They'd probably be at Guantanamo Bay by now.

I never said he wasnt in the Afghan. He was there helping to defeat the commies for the USA, who owe him a medal for the good work he did in the Afghan. A personal friend of the bushs. (no doubt swopping weapons for opium.)
And he was on the payroll right up to the 911 scam. 13 of the 911 hijackers were Saudis. As was Osama, So why didnt the USA invade Saudi Arabia?
Yes Al CIA da were in Iraq, Sadam hated them as they were Saudis. They went there after the USA arrived. Same with Lybia, they turned up along side the special forces who were trying to over throw Gadaffi. Now they are in Syria and no doubt they will be in Iran shortly. Strange how Al CIA da seem to turn up when the west needs them. One would think that they were on the same team.
