Jesus wasn't even a christian, the religion was not invented until 300 years after he died by the Romans who killed him and then embraced him when it suited them, to save their empire! Jesus (Yeshua) was a Jew and his followers were Jews, he was their Teacher (Rabbi) who followed the Law (Torah). And tht's the bottom line

Incorrect...

He broke jewish laws... and gave 2 commandments, which the original 10 are subject to...

Maybe you should read THIS

Though you are right in the fact that he was not Christian...

So theoretically if "Jesus" did make a return, what would he say to the non Christian world? At this point there are probably more Muslim people in the world than Christian people.(the average person probably does not know this).

Average person where???? USA is not the ONLY place on Earth!

[Quote]Or what about the Jews that he made look like traitors for thousands of years, I'm not sure they would welcome him with open arms.

He did not make them look like anything, it was the 'Holy Roman Empire' (ie the Vatican)

Would he just try to convert everyone?

To What humans?

Theres your first mistake.
You assume Jesus' return is mentioned exclusively in christian scriptures.
Jesus is not (c) and (tm) of christianity. Thats what they make it look like.
Even the muslims revere and adore Jesus and expect him to return.

Try looking at both perspectives.

I feel like there would be an equal amount of people trying to kill him as embrace him. The world would figuratively freak out and religions would be divided way more than they already are.

"I feel like there would be an equal amount of people trying to kill him as embrace him."
What if Jesus returns "like a thief in the night", as he said he would?

Perhaps the third link in my signature might interest you.

True.

Nothing about modern christianity resembles what Jesus taught.

The trinity.... Jesus' sin sacrifice... original sin.... Jesus being God Himself... are all tenets of christianity.
But have no basis in Jesus' words.

Jesus to the christians is a "get-out-of-hell-free" ticket. He has been reduced to a sacrificial animal.

The message is.... "accept you are a sinner and Jesus died for your sins"..... and then you can be saved.
Then you can safely go back to sinning. You can kill, rob, lie, sleep with your neighbours wife...but just keep admitting that Jesus died for your sins and you will be saved.

As someone who is not religious anymore, I had pondered this in my youth. The conclusion I came up with is that people are looking for him in all the wrong places. He is not going to appear in a mega church, I would be surprised if showed up in any church. I think he would be railing against the church and what it stands for. He would be hanging out with the "dregs" of society. I think he would have as much scorn for "Christians" now, as he had for the Jewish hieracrchy back the first time around.

With over 7 billion people on the planet now, we very well could have had multiple returns that no one has noticed because he just wasn't about the flash and flair the first time. My sister and I always joke that the only way people would actually accept Jesus' return would be if he was flying around shooting lasers out of his eyes. This is due to the way his legend has been built up in the last 2 millenia. He was not what the built up stories say he was, he was a simple man that preached tolerance of others, and a general well being for society. Jesus was a socialist. I know that doesn't jive with most Conservative bible toting toting people, but it is a fact. Those people are the hard ground from the parable, his message is lost on them.

You want to see what Jesus would look like upon his return, look at how Mother Teresa lived her life. She cared for all humans, no matter the race or religion. Jesus would not care if someone was a Jew or a Muslim, or even a Christian (especially a Christian), as long as they were open to the message of resepct and caring for your fellow man.

As someone who has studied eschatology of both christianity and islam, I say you are wrong.

The biblical and Koranic Jesus are the same... born of a virgin/ messiah/ returns to kill the AC.
The biblical and Koranic anti-christ are also the same... one eyed/ global deciever / poses as the messiah/ gets killed by Jesus.

Jesus' first coming was as a kinsman redeemer. 'I come not but unto the lost sheep...." (ten tribes?) Consider where his disciples went to spread the word. They knew where the lost sheep were located.

His mission was not to save the entire world. What will his mission be in his second coming? Ten tribes again?

While I agree with most of what you said, I mean a little mor towards the reaction of other people towards jesus, rather than the other way around.

It's also hard to say someone if definitely wrong on a subject like this since in reality, no living man knows for sure.

Which Jesus are you referring to, their will be two Jesus 's in the end . The first one will be the false Jesus deceiving almost the whole world into following him . The second Jesus , the real one will when he arrives will cause all of humanity to be changed into their spiritual bodies and all will kneel to Him and realize they have made a big mistake if they followed the Antichrist or better put the instead of Christ.

Why would I Kneel to Jesus? If he is without ego (and pure) then he will not want me to kneel because he will want be to be equal in all sense as all souls are meant to be. If a person comes and tell me to Kneel then he shows to me that he is subscribing ot the faith of the power pyramid of ego (or as ego is called in the bible satan). Any person who is asking me to kneel is still corrupted by ego and I will not follow them no matter what gifts they bring or miracles. I know the true value of my soul. There is no soul with greater value or lower value than my soul. There is no one above or below me. God is the collective whole of everything. All is one and one is All. The souls wake up from all race, religon and location and join the quire. There is only one true duality. Those that are driven by devine ideals and those that are driven by ego. Jesus the man is not what is important. The devine ideals to strive for that Jesus told you about is. Do not judge the message by who is telling it to you. Judge it by the message. To honor the person Jesus will not please him if he was and is devine. To honor his message and intention will make him happy if he is a seed. Namase

Really what exactly do you believe I should read again , I stand. Y my statement of the Mahadi and Issa . Their Mahadi comes on a white horse as does our Antichrist they consider Jesus to be just a prophet , we await a false prophet . Their team of Jesus and the Mahadi go to Jerusalem to kill the Jews and the Dajal . Jesus returns to protect the Jews from the false prophet and the Antichrist . What did I miss? I can go a lot deeper into this study if you like

Because every single person alive will kneel to him out of respect for their Lord and savior even those who did not follow him and tried to destroy his plans will kneel including Satan .
