Washington base back in spotlight after Afghan shootings

www.cnn.com...

After 11 years of this war is seems that Americans that do things that serve no other purpose but to destroy America are consistently coming from specific areas of the Country and have predictable backgrounds...

The soldier who abandoned his post and went house to house murdering sleeping Afghans came from Washington State, Seattle Area, and he is not the first to fit this description...

my question is...

Are certain areas of the country raising their offspring to serve no other purpose but to destroy the United States and serve foreign powers?

Is it possible that people that enjoy American citizenship are creating psychopaths to destroy America?

Are people so completely convinced of the superiority of their own beliefs that they are willing to sacrifice their children and the lives of people that they don't even know to achieve victory in a war that most say shouldn't even be being fought?

How do law abiding citizens stop such reckless hatred? Self Hatred???

Pentagon officials feel 'punched in gut' Public trial for Afghan killing spree? PTSD related to Afghan massacre? Ali Seraj: U.S. can't whitewash murder "This was not just a rogue soldier," said Jorge Gonzalez, executive director of G.I. Voice, a veteran-run nonprofit organization that operates a soldiers' resource center near the base called Coffee Strong. The base is "a rogue base, with a severe leadership problem," he said. "If Fort Lewis was a college campus, it would have been closed down years ago," Gonzalez said. In the wake of Sunday's shootings, he called for a congressional investigation and hearings "into the multiple crises" at the base.

Here's something odd...the day after I read this I was reading an issue of my wife's magazine BOOKHAPPY (plug) and one of the articles reviews a number of books about "The Wickedest City." One of which is "Phenix City Alabama, the Wickedest City in America," at least up until the mid 1950s when a gubernatorial candidate was gunned down on the main drag, martial law was declared, the entire police force was arrested and all the whorehouses and gambling joints were shut down. COINCIDENCE???

It's the water, I tell you. That, and the unbearable psychic pressure that comes from actually living in Alabama. Obama can bitch about Arkansas all he wants, but at least he's not having to deal with people who think Lynyrd Skynyrd wrote the National Anthem. A place where the police drove the Mafia out because they were COMPETITION--now THAT is a sniffy place.

woaaaaaaaa settle your horses, you cannot just point at Washington State as a whole and say that a murderous soldier came from there because it's growing murderers....every city on the planet has someone who will grow up to kill someone else. it happens. it's a psychological deficiency and not localized by any means.

sure it's possible, but you have to think logistically
who is going to enact a group of military grade psychologists to target psychopathic civilians to commit murder?

?

why?

how would they go about it? who funds it? what are their operation objectives?

I can see the use personally.
more gun laws, strict psychological profiling of everyone as a collective, etc..

That wouldn't have anything to do with Fort Lewis being a huge Army base from which tens of thousands of troops deploy, would it? If I had to pick a place that creates psychopaths, I would suggest the other Washington, Washington, D.C., that started the whole damn mess in the first place.

this is not just about murder or crime. its about a calculated event in service of a greater purpose.

i figure an entire state could easily be produced to be fundamentally at odds with the rest of a nation...

honestly, Washington State seems to be a suspect, but not the only one.

imagine a place that was founded by people that hated Washington D.C. from the very beginning and across generations raised its offspring to make war upon it...

is Washington State this place?

No, it is not. Washington State is fundamentally a liberal and socialist-leaning state that was once called the Soviet of Washington. It is completely behind the liberal agenda of Washington DC in every way possible.

Your entire premis is completely absurd, of course, but you could pick a more likely state because Washington simply does not even begin to fit the bill. Further, the idea that a soldier who was assigned to an Army base in the state does not make him "from the Seattle area" any more that you are from Huntsville. It's not even near Seattle, but south of Tacoma near Dupont.

What if I told you I was under the belief that fundamentally liberal and socialist leaning people are the ones directly responsible for the murder of those innocent Afghan civilians via their brainwashing the idiot that apparently believed in them?

I do believe this...

What do you have to say now?

at this point in the war...I assume that the people that fit that description are the primary drivers of the war...and were from the very beginning.

I also feel that liberal, socialist leaning people started the war in the first place...and now want it to end...as they've learned that there exist entities within the world that they have no control over and who indulge in combat...and that they cannot win...so they launched this pathetic attack against innocent people in an effort to attempt to end the war.

but the war will not end on their schedule...

live and learn I suppose.

could a liberal, socialist leaning individual ever imagine a person that avoids a fight, not because they are opposed to fights, but because they don't want to interfere with the possibility of a greater fight down the road?

I don't think WA being a liberal state (the West half) is going to automatically make it not prone to turning out the crazies. WA has had a number of notable signature killers.

Can we blame it on the rain? Do the dark green forests that blanket the land bring out the monster in a few of us? These questions might seem frivolous if the facts were not so damning: Police continue to unfold the grisly details of three of the nation's most notorious serial-murder cases, all within a 280-mile radius of Seattle, the emerald hub of the region. In the universe of serial killings, the Pacific Northwest, if only in public perception, may be one of its capitals. It's an impression not new and not based solely on data. Many experts dismiss it as misinformed, fueled by a hyperactive news media and a prolific troupe of true-crime writers who've chosen — perhaps because of the rain and the dark green forests — to live and work in the Northwest.

Does NW draw out serial killers?

"I also feel that liberal, socialist leaning people started the war in the first place."

What have you been smoking? George W. Bush must be a closet "liberal socialist" in your world.

Also, the suspect has not been named. There is no information that he is "from" Washington State. He was stationed at Joint Base McChord/Lewis. Perhaps he is originally from YOUR home state.

I remember clearly that George W Bush responded to a war that had already begun...he didn't start anything.

maybe the suspect was not from Washington State, but was recruited and sent there for training and indoctrination.

Hundreds of thousands of soldiers have been "indoctrinated" at Lewis/McChord. It's called Boot Camp. No different than any other military base.

Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld sent troops to Afghanistan (and later, Iraq) in response to the 911 false flag attack.

by 'false flag' do you mean like the shooter was a false flag attack?

i've never been quite clear on that phrase.

Washington State, California and New York are all extremely liberal. Don't know if that was the case with the soldier. I happen to think that maybe stress and moral had a bigger part. I also think that I can't speculate, on what actually happened because I was not there and didn't see first hand. Maybe he was placed in the army like the Ft Hood shooter and was apathetic and acted in a way that would promote and apathetic view of hostility towards the US military.

The word of the day is apathy. Apathetic people are usually liberal. They feel they have become victims of something they are powerless to change, so they make it their lives purpose to push their extremely apathetic views on others.
