why is the interior of the Sun dark?

It isn´t, or at least the pic is not of the interior, but of the corona.

Coronal holes are areas where the Sun's corona is darker, colder, and has lower-density plasma than average. These were found when X-ray telescopes in the Skylab mission were flown above the Earth's atmosphere to reveal the structure of the corona.

I belive that the Sun is Exo-thermally powered. It draws an unlimited supply of energy from the extreme vaccume of space. Zero-point energy if you will. Also known as the "pregnant vaccume". Matter that is normally uncondensed in regular space, is drawn tighter together in outer space. The energy is inexhaustable.

Why would you think that when it is completely explained and common knowledge that the process of the sun is one of nuclear fusion, and is totally exhaustable, it´s why stars burn out eventually.

Why you would come up with your own theory to describe what is a commonly known and documented process is beyond me.

Those shapes are fascinating anyway, awesome that we have the technology to be able to see what the sun is up to
great post!

Clearly the triangles you indicated on your picture are simply 3 points joined together. The triangle that is completely obvious in the OP, without needing to draw lines over the image, is almost entirely solid.

Here's one that looks like a horse.

What is going on here, man the ignorance is becoming of biblical proportions here.

These pics that Phage posted are the clear proof that there is nothing abnormal here.

What do you mean worst debunk ever? It doesn´t get clearer than that.

Very interesting theory? I have always thought that the sun was a "full" black hole that was radiating it's energy
and eventually it would close up on it's self when it burns out, or open up, hell I don't know?

It's definitely huge and has never been seen before but in defense of sun I could say we really haven't been imaging
the sun very long considering how long it has been around. I agree with Phage about seeing triangles every where you have three points, but this is black like a sun spot and it does have three points it looks to be a triangle from what we know to be a triangle. "As above so below, as below so above"

You are so wrong, Phage!
That first one looks like a fish, swimming toward the lower left, not a horse.

...but, yeah -- You are correct in saying that coronal holes are not abnormal.

Look's like some ones's been ironing the sun and burnt hole in it.

That's a really huge coronal hole.

But it's far from being a perfect triangle:

We naturally love to search for patterns in nature. I think this just rolled about naturally. The sun has, basically, infinite abilities of forming a picture, but with an abstract multiplication variable to prevent it from happening so often. That triangle doesn't look EXACTLY perfect because there's a line going through a part of it and it isn't exactly linear on each side.

I'd say just enjoy the show and don't think too hard about it, because nature is truly beautiful.

A keyhole, will delving into this unlock the secret?

It can´t be, a giant Blackhawk helicopter in the sun! .. No it´s a whale.

Oh noes, this has got to mean something right!

Yep, just as I expected, the serpents are behind it.

Doom porn people in this thread please look at the images and understand that everything is normal. Sorry to burst your guys bubbles but you're not going to die from the sun tomorrow ;(

This thread should be divided into two. One thread for people interested in the solar science side of things and one for those interested in art and free association, the rorschach people.

I wonder if, today or tomorrow, we are going to get a giant sized earthquake out of this, as with the Tohoku earthquake.

Damn guys i think i know what it is. It is the outside layer of the black hole in the center of our solar system that we call the "Sun", evaporating, getting sucked into the hole, or simply disappearing. The blackness you see is actually the black hole finally growing big enough to be visible from the surface in certain areas.... In the coming months the rest of the "Sun" will be swallowed up as well.

This is where the nightmare will start.

Maybe this was what the mayans knew, hence their calender ended later this year.

This might also be why we have those pyramids left behind... As a warning of the pyramid in the sky!

85 flags and 14 pages (and growing) for a natural occurrence.

meanwhile some very well researched threads get 2 flags and 3 comments, then lost to the ether.

I think this is amazing. Not only do we have the technology to witness this kind of event, we lack the understanding and awareness of what is transpiring to cause it, thus enabling the most outrageous of freethinking and creativity to come up with a plausible explanation for this phenomenon.

I for one, see stars and space in the black area of the triangle. To me and my imagination it looks like a gateway. To think it may be a hole that I can see 'through' the sun makes no sense to me as this would mean that the sun no longer exists with some of the basic principles of science that we have come to understand. Not that there aren't a whole lot that we don't understand

Isn't it a great time to be alive in many respects? (I know, I know, some people will say no, but perspective and conscious frame of mind counts for something)

Namaste.
