This was sent to me from Linda Moulton Howe's website Earthfiles

A family was skiing on Mammoth Peaks (close to Hawthorne). The wife took two photos of the rest of the family. When the images were viewed later, there was a disk in one of them...

are they sure that its authentic? it looks like the stereotypical UFO, "flying saucer" to good to be true type of image.

say it is a UFO, what is it's purpose? it's on earth, what then? why be so blatant, shiny, and over some mountain range in california??

I live right on the other side of mammoth so this is my back yard pretty much lol. But on the close up doesn't it look too fuzzy compared to the mountains?

That's incredible. Great pic! I wonder, maybe the aliens were looking to do some skiing too?

That mountain range is on the edge of China Lake Naval test area

But I agree it looks too good... I guess we need blurry fuzzy images to be real.

There isn't much on the story other than the family got hold of Linda via Coast to Coast radio

I was given your name and address by a friend who has heard you on radio - I believe the "Coast to Coast" radio program. I am sending you two attached jpeg pics my brother's wife took during a ski vacation eight years ago in February 2004, at the Mammoth ski resort, a famous ski spot for Californians.

Also seems the actual sighting was 2004

Go to youtube and type in Sonora ufos. This area seems to be hot for some reason and I see bright non blinking lights that move very slowly and all of a sudden just start to dim until they disappear.

The area here is very rich in gold. Its inside electronics and there have been sightings for years.

The suns reflection on the UFO and the reflections and shadows in the rest of the photo don't appear to match. I suspect the photo has been doctored.

Even I could do a better job shopping a UFO into a pic than that.

Don't recall having seen that model before either. It's a little fuzzy... should be blurrier while it has it's field generators on during flight...

Ah well Linda did cover those Drones before too... I think I will write her and see if we can get the original with exif data. Maybe the submitter will read about it here and help out

Cooked this up in just a couple minutes... I think it's better than the one in the OP

Fake. It doesn't even look real. They just copy and pasted it. The disc may be real, but it wasn't really in that location. The coloring of the disc and the coloring of the photo just don't match up.
