yes, we did. people believe we didnt because they believe, rightly, that getting a man, in fact multiple men, is really effing hard. they just think it's too hard to have been done, especially in the late 60s.

actually, no. we did. because it was so monumental (IMO, it along with flight, the structure of DNA, and atomic fusion ranks as one of the top achievements of our time) it is especially succeptible to theories. NASA has repeatedly resleased information detailing proof of our trip.

i believe, however, that the strongest proof was buzz aldrin. after some jackoff was pestering him, waskign him to swear on the bible that he landed on the moon, aldrin punched the guy in the face. that is a very very strong response, one i believe only teh second man to step on the moon could give.

were weird things found? maybe, i guess its possible. theyd be real easy to cover up, its kinda far away, and weve only got one source, which could easily be very censored. i dont, however, know what the hell it could have been. what could possibly be 'weird' on the moon that needed to be kept secret?

I honestly blame it on the internet without it people couldent make crazy websites that coax people into believing that we didnt land on the moon and photoshop pictures and stuff

There was a very convincing Fox special a while back, even made me question and start double-checking facts...but its clear we went, and the claims of the special were false.

Obviously the cascade of lies, or a "bodyguard of lies," from government has proceeded in massive proportions for a long time. Face it lying is profitable, especially under cover of "sovereign immunity," if you will.

What was the question, so why do so many think the moon landings were fake?

Because almost everything about the government is subject to question by an informed electorate, due to the massive volume of bovine flatulance and the hard copy chips of it too.

The question is really, would our nice warm government lie to us about landing on the moon? I think the question is not implausible and to answer, most likely given various points also subject to question. When you look at everything on a simple internet search, you will find a great deal including Bush himself "looking for new ways of shielding from radiation," in his Moon/Mars initiative. Now why do we have to shield from radiation anyway, didn't Apollo do that quite well? Is our government now in a quiet desperation to tell the truth once in a while, to untangle the mass of lies and go back to facing reality as it is?

they had some shielding, but there wasnt much of an issue because there was no strong, solar flare of radiation. a trip to mars is much longer than the trip to the moon, so the small amounts received add up, but the chance of a flare happening increases as well. the planet also protects far less than earth.

as was stated, the fox thing was seen by apparently everyone, stating stupid things like the flag stayed upright and whatever. are we really to believe something because fox says it?

I agree with you.
I think we can not belive everything that goverment say or show to as always try to think about it for some time. Try to understand does it is true or not. Today to many people are like robots: they read something - they belive it, they see somethink - they belive it.

Yes, there are many question like Landing on moon, destruction of USSR, war in Chechnya, war in Iraq.

For some Quation we know answers but for some we will never find out.

Here is the one reason I dont believe that the moon landing was a hoax...
the Soviets didnt say a thing. If it had been a hoax, the USSR would have known about it, and screamed bloody murder. They didnt, so that makes me pretty confident that we really did land on the moon.

why? a few reasons.
1. nobody gives a rats rear-end anymore. moon landings were from 69-72. anyone alive during that time is middle aged. idealogical people are the young ones, and to them its an accepted fact.
2. they did it already. a number of times. every astronaut has been hailed. its kinda like old pilots. they used to be talk of the town, the best around. then they faded out as it became popular. same with astronauts.
3. you can only tell the story so many times, and write so many books. same old thing. someone wants to ask you questions, the story hasnt changed much in the last 30 years. by not much, i mean not at all. its cheaper and easier to borrow a book from the library.
4. did i mentioned nobody cares? its sad...

personally, i think the last thing either country (i use the word lightly in the case of the USSR) would do with each other, especially at that point, is have a working contract. its not really in the interest of each other. what could america give the soviets? not kill them with nukes? theyd get us back, that was why nobody ever attcked directly. theres no reason to believe any of that happened, and theres a lot of reason to believe that we landed.

I believe some of the photography may have been done here on Earth to get more exciting photos and keep people more interested and not let them get bored.

Which could easily be misinterpreted by some that no landing(s) whatsoever took place.

I believe we went but the exteme temperatures would surely kept the pictures from even turning out,i agree that maybe the footage was faked but the event was real.

First of all how can something this big be a hoax? Secondly they put laser refelctors on the moon which reflect back light in order for us to measure the distance of recession. Who else put them on there ET? HAHA.

I think that we DID go to moon. I also believe that the reason so many think that we didn't is because they doctored many photo's to hide something.
