Some more beautiful photos I wanted to share with ATS, all credit goes to National Geographic where I got most of them.

Eruption of the Cordon del Caulle

An unexpected side-effect of the 2010 flooding in parts of Sindh, Pakistan, was that millions of spiders climbed up into the trees to escape the rising flood waters; because of the scale of the flooding and the fact that the water took so long to recede, many trees became cocooned in spiders webs

Electrical Storm at the Death Valley Salt Flats

Canadian Rockies on a lake where snow hadn't fallen on the ice covering

Dubai in October

On a safari

Harding Ice-field trail

Yellowstone National Park

Upper Antelope Canyon

'Temple of Transition' during the Burning Man event 2011

I don't know how anybody could ever abuse this beautiful planet,

Well your thread title was spot on! Thanks for sharing. I found the spider-webbed trees very creepy.

I've made a couple attempts at photography but I dont think I could ever get pics like the ones seen here. The one at the tops my favorite nature at its best.

absolutely great images op, can't star you enough for this. i once read that there were people who considered suicide after watching pandora in james cameron's avatar. that's the dumbest thing ever since inf act we already have a pandora. i'd like to contribute to this thread with a video i recently came across. those among us who live in the urban area often miss the actual beauty of this planet;

That first one is incredible, I've never seen anything like that those are monstrous spiders.

*Jaw drops*

These photos are breathtaking. I've made it a goal of mine to visit as many exotic places in the world before I die. Hopefully I can accomplish this goal, because there is so much to see.

Gonna try one more time. Here is a few of mine .

This is a Anna's Hummingbird. They are funny to watch fight over the feeders.

This one I use as my screen saver.

I would love to some day be able to get a little better zoom lens. I have a few that are better than these but Ill have to get the other computer.
