Where was Allred last year when Ed Schultz called a Laura Ingraham a "right wing slut" and a "talk slut"??

Anyone? Gloria?? where were you? Case dismissed!! due to abhorrent hypocrisy.

Schultz apologized at the beginning of his program last night, after which he was replaced by Thomas Roberts for the remainder of the program. Schultz has been suspended indefinitely without pay. Here is the video of his apology:

calling her a prostitute is false information and can be considered slander, and defamation of character.

Having "soo much sex" is opinion again..frankly, once a year can be considered too much for some.

Saying she demanded to get paid to have sex is also false info, more fodder for defamation.

Basically, there are charges that can stick. Like any other lie you say about a person, if you say it loud enough, you will get hammered.

Should Rush get hammered for it? Well, one argument is that it goes against the freedom of speech..on the other hand, did the founding fathers intend freedom of speech to be the defense in character assassination based on lies and slander? I think not. Fire in a theater type thing

I stand in a very ultra conservative town full of fringe folks...and I tell people that you..ya..you...you are actually a secret abortion doctor and kills babies left and right..even 3rd trimesters.

Great post. It may not seem significant to be called a slut unless you or your family have to live with the consequences. If I was a guy and someone talked that way about my wife, he'd at least have a pair of shiners and I'd be in jail for assault. If my husband called me that he would be guilty of verbal abuse. No crime, but mean a hell to say that to someone.

I don't think Rush was trying to put fear in her. She could eat him for breakfast. He gained her and her cause a ton of notoriety, making himself looks crude and hateful. Sleaze journalism at its finest.

like cheating on your girlfriend, and then finding out the girl you cheated on was actually sent by your girlfriend to tempt you...you took the bait, you cheated, you are 100% in the wrong and no backpeddling to get out of it.

Rush didn't attack this girl because he thought she was somehow involved in the obama administration, or some wild activist...it was him personally and viciously attacking a girl making a point he disagreed with.

Defend his mysoginist actions all you want...I fully encourage the entire republican party to all run to the aid of poor Rush actually. I think it fully encompasses what the reps have become as of late...go for it.

And not to worry...the dems will constantly be bringing this up..especially the more republicans start defending rush. It will go over swimmingly to the mainstream independent voters and moderate republican women. mhmm.

Also, when making holes in your own boat, I recommend using a pickaxe..makes nice holes really quick. Make sure to say the dems gave you the pickaxe though so not to take blame.
