I'm not sure how many archeological giant finds have actually been debunked, but I found this:

that is why when someone screams fake or photo shopped.. I raise that question.
there are many things that get quickly dismissed simply cause some refuse to believe
in something that "seems" impossible.. But yet science is rewritten every day

It still makes me laugh when I get the occasional email from a friend referencing the Worth1000 contest photos and saying "See, giants walked the earth. They found skeletons!"

At first glance...I'd say that this photo was 'DIGITALLY ENHANCED' (pun intended).

I agree 100%. If someone like Josh Gates would be allowed to analyze it, and take DNA, etc., then I'd lean a little more toward believing it. You'd think that with something of this magnitude, those who found it would welcome any and all from the scientific community to study it.

Sadly, we'll probably not hear much more about this find. Shame.
I believe there very well might have been giants on the earth in the past, although probably not to the the extreme dimensions mentioned here or elsewhere.

That's an easy one, no one has ever produced a skeleton of 'giant', tall people yes, a giant, or groups of giants no. Lots of pious fraud dealing with giants but as we have them with us in our world it is thought that stories about groups of giants is merely myths and story telling

Looks like an "artifact" from the P.T. Barnum Museum. The "fiji mermaid"

There would still be signs of the knuckle. The bone is to round and straight to be any where near a knuckle. And if not near the knuckle then where is the hollow bone marror core? It looks solid to me.

Yea. I would like to see a better picture or a cross section of the bone in better detail. In the pics from the OP, the one with the x-ray, they have conveniently covered that area with a picture paperclipped to it.

it could be chopped off and if you were going to do that you'd aim for the narrow part of the bone. I'd like to see a cross section picture of the bone. If it is solid I would tend to think it was a hoax.

Arken,
Cool find! Star & Flag! I would like to believe its real, no matter how many people do not! I have always believed in giants, because my father current has acgromegaly and he has grown huge since I was a babe. That is very cool!
Thanks for sharing this with us!

FYI… for everyone who is not familiar with the “BILD newspaper”.
The reputation of this “news” paper is similar to the north American Bull magazine the “National Enquirer”.

A standing joke in germany concerning this paper is the quote: “ mother put child through the meatgrinder, BILD spoke exclusively with the hamburger.

Just thought I will let you all in on this, to make you more familiar with this paper.

So what are you saying? Its a mummified midget's leg? It does look strange.
If the National Enquirer came out with the same story would we believe it?
Has the Pope been hit twice by an asteroid? Of course we would.

I thought they were real at first, then I did some research on it like I usually do.
