Machine dated at 400 million years found in Russia

I find it very interesting that a mass of fossilized gears/cogs could show up that date back 400,000,000 years; unfortunately they are crinoid fossils and not gears/cogs. It makes one wonder if one could make a mold of such fossils and create gears/cogs for different equipment.

Nevermind. Looks like some members beat me to the punch. I sorta had the idea that these were perhaps fossilized something or others that lived back then.

Not much to say here really, other than the shapes remind me of the bottoms of old glass bottles. The squared edged one is interesting too.

Russia is a third world country with second world technology....

so I wouldn't respect a claim from russia more so than I would from Liberia

yeah now...but a couple million years ago it could have been thriving tropical area....or who knows maybe it was wreckage.... a lot of people say "if ancient tech existed there would be proof" well a big enough disaster and enough time everything breaks down or gets covered.... maybe there tech wwas based off of something beside electronics? maybe chemical and mechanical based tech? just maybe houses and building were made from stone they could heat or cool maybe just maybe there life was like ours but different they went down a different tech path then us... but seriously your comment about Russia being 3rd world and ther tech 2nd world.... just seems racist

Think this one out... in order to become a fossil you must be an organic organism... if you were made of metal or silicon you would not become a fossil.
