so get this. I checked my email and seen that I had gotten a reply.

from china lake navy weapon test range.

mind you im not going to post my email address.

this is what she sent me


Your question regarding the identification of the photographs you sent via the WD Website has been forwarded to me, as the Public Affairs Officer for the base.

I forwarded the photos you sent to the proper person on base and he identified them as shots of our test ranges. The odd shapes you see are bomb impacts and/or lined-ponds within the test area.

Please note, that the Naval Air Weapons Stations China Lake is a research, test, acquisition and evaluation base. Testing bombs is part of what we do.
