i was checking out google earth and quakes a few years back, and seen something odd in the middle of the desert.
the next few pictures will try to show what im talking about.

the first is a pic of the ridgecrest area in southern california. just to give you a starting point on your own maps.

the second is the most resent pic to date

the third is from 09

the forth is 07

it's a WTF to me.

I was stationed in china lake in the navy with vx-9. They do a lot of research on that base with very high security clearances. The base is notorious for secret activity. While i was there i had a secret clearance(which isnt much). There are many other things on base that are "curious". I am surprised this base isn't talked about more.

Reminds me of the salt piles they make at DOT sites in the Northeast to get ready for winter....

I know that's not what it is though....

Think somebody is just having fun making sand castles?

Just looking at it again...is it a crater?

Maybe detonating explosives underground?

i have thought the same thing but the 07 pic shows some kind of earth moving construction.

and the 09 has what looks like a pit of " water? " or some kind of fluid. with the black and white paint

the it looks like a dust pit.

it is cool the things you stumble across checking out earthquakes.

this one is from 05. there is something there for a cool 2 years before it was messed with, and before that i have no images untell 95 and there is just dirt there.

It has a massive range. Supposedly the base is for weapons testing and evaluation. Although with a host of engineers, buildings and hangars inaccessible to military personnel who knows what its really for.

Rumors on base include -

Underground research facility near or around hangar five. B- mountain has an underground hangar, and so on and so forth.

Something else unique, on base when you enter there are signs that say;

What you do here
What you see here
Stays here...

Oh yeah i forgot, the Manhattan project.

Can you tell how big the "object" or area is?

Go to Google Maps and type in China Lake Acres.

Switch it to satellite view and you should see the Naval Weapons Center China Lake should be near the picture.

I am assuming that's what it is, and the label is just moved to far, or the base is a huge underground installment like they all are lol.

Almost immediately I saw a face in this one...looks like a fellow with glasses on and a 1980's hair cut!

Interesting images...not sure what they might be...my first thought is military somethings!

now where would you get the idea to look for faces hidden in other images?

Wait! errr....nevermind

what went through my head is...

its in the middle of no where.

there is fluid in it with the black and white measuring tool

it starts shallow and ends in an equal area pool

my two best guesses

1 a way to test " cavitation " on different bomb/missile head

2 maybe some kind of bacteria growth pool. doset look to deep, but only looks like 1 was used

First thing I saw was a face too. Probably for the aircraft.
