Hi fellow ats members I stumbled upon a site with these amazing 3d pictures! I just thought with all the mass panic about the solar flares we need some enjoyment in our lives! So Enjoy!

Those are pretty cool I must admit, Thanks for sharing! I wonder what happens if the flicker is sped up... hmmmm....

P.S. They even look 3D with one eye closed!

pretty trippy and awesome
so to get 3D we just have to vibrate a picture fast enough?
anyhow hopefully those dont cause any epilepsy cases

ETA: I am glad they have been able to create glasses free 3D, but it is too bad for all those folks who just spent thousands on 3D TV's.
When will this technology be out I wonder?
It's kind of trippy if you lean way too one side or another. The pic seems to follow.

Not exactly. The pictures are taken with 2 cameras side-by-side to emulate eyes. The images are then alternated in a quick animation to give the illusion of depth.

It's a cheat for stereoscopic imagery without the glasses.
