Does Physics Display the Properties of a Virtual Reality?

I never thought of it this way before, but a virtual reality would have slightly different physics than a classical world it is simulating. This is due to nothing other than the fact that it is based on information processing, and not actual material objects

Oddly enough, these virtual properties just happen to look exactly like the weird Alice in Wonderland features we see in modern physics. Is this just an uncanny coincidence or is there something to this?
