Started about 45 minutes ago! Get used to yawning, that's going to be all you do with this flare.

What is that at the end plus or minus seven hours?
I thought scientists were a little more accurate than that.

Their usually pretty close in their calculations. Who knows it could have began already and sattelite disruption could be delaying updates as well. Just some things to consider. I'm just pissed that our skies are pretty cloudy here. We are getting a few breaks but not much. Go figure, good chance to see auroras and it's cloudy. Got to love Michigan.

I take it you don't see them very often?

I'm in AZ so of course it never happens here I would love to see it I bet it's spectacular. Seen pictures but that's about all.

Meh. At best this will result in some pretty aurora. It's already time for them anyway, I have seen them only once so far this winter and it wasn't anything spectacular. Here's hoping it'll be at least as spectacular as last winter when one night them pretty colours filled 1/4 of the sky.

He just likes to think he knows it all, when his precious computer gets fried beneath his fingertips, he'll have nothing left and cry out to mother.

Join the club, Way too cloudy with only patches in between.
NC here.

Sun was trying to coming out. Now it's like gone. Had couple of patches of pink, dark, dark black clouds when the sun was trying to come out but that was it. Nothing spectacular.
