The US could easily intercept anything headed from Iran to the UK with the missile defense shield they have built up on the Eastern European front. That is, if the UFO's don't intercept them first, which is more likely.

Hopefully this is the last gasp for the warmongers.

Most certainly ".... this evidence should be presented..." but can it be withheld in the UK, as is the case in the US, with a simple claim that it must be withheld in the interests of "national security"?

It appears to me that the government's stand is that it is not the revelation of the source of intelligence data but rather being caught in a lie which would jeopardize national security

A politician could quite easily force his hand and ask him to prove it by presenting the evidence.
'National security' etc doesn't wash in this instance.
We've been lied to before and we won't let it happen again.

Unfortunately, we have very few politicians with integrity and whose primary concern is the cares and concerns of the British electorate and far too many whose only concerns are self-advancement, self-gain and adhesion to out-dated party political dogma.

And bear in mind that the leader of the major opposition party is himself a Jew, not that all Jews are Zionists who wish to see Iran eradicated from the face of the earth, then you see that there is little chance of someone forcing Camerons hand.

However, the vast majority of British people are firmly against any involvement in military intervention in Iran and feel quite passionate about it.

Cameron will be in for a rude awakening if he thinks we will sit idly by and let this happen again.

Err technically possible but not really achievable due to the amount of fuel needed.

If you want to launch a nuke from Iran to the UK, you have to use the spin of the earth to your advantage.

I.E. launch it east (further away from Europe)

So for Iran it would have to launch missiles to the south east out into the Indian ocean in order to end up around the other side of the world over the northern hemisphere.
Less fuel needed thus smaller missile and cheaper.

True this.

Why? Aliens hate Brits more than Yanks do.

True that.

Thanks for a revealing reply.

On this side of the pond a few, very few, politicians will publicly grandstand the issue and demand disclosure of the evidence but there will never be a formal Congressional action to reveal the evidence. It WILL be withheld.

AFTER a conflict starts there will be a token antiwar public outcry for the evidence all to no avail since the media is well controlled. The media diverts the issue saying that not supporting our combat troops, risking their lives in (fill in country name) to keep us free, is unAmerican!

The popular radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh said many years ago. "You don't have to think for yourself kiddies. Let you uncle Rush do your thinking for you." This country abounds with 'kiddies' totally incapable of critical thinking analysis, with IMO public education bearing most of the blame.

Well what else do you expect from Cameron?
He will take the money from the hospitals women and children. To buy more weapons or missiles ect with which to kill women and kids. What was the bs Bliar used? missiles in 30minutes or some other such bollocks. We should send all those politicians to the front line and lead from the front. No chance of that happening. For they are just a bunch of lying two faced cowards.

What's it to you?

Plenty people have more posts than me, but even so, what's the problem?

Do I have a life?

Yes, a very active one, but wtf has it got to do with you?

Why all the anti-UK rhetoric and off topic posting?

To be honest if the powers at be feel the time is right for a war with Iran, then thats exactly what will happen. The peoples opinion in the UK mean nothing and certainly will not be enough of a consideration to stop any sort of war.

You would think so with these clowns but it would be the straw that broke the camels back for the British public I assure you..

There would be some pretty major lynching and social unrest if they just went on with it..

The only way I can see them getting their way here is a major false flag or Israel going in first causing a major escallation..

As things stand it would be political suicide for Cameron to send troops into Iran or engage in any military confrontation with Iran.

We Brits can be pretty docile at times but can also be very passionate and forceful at times, especially when riled.

I doubt there will be a false flag, Cameron will either continue with the rhetoric and do absolutely nothing or in his arrogance, and this pompous upper class twat is even more arrogant and brazen than Thatcher was, will ignore poublic opinion in his belief that he knows what's best and commit to armed intervention.....the first course of action will result in even more ridicule and loss of credebility, the second will result in a fierce backlash the likes of which hasn't been seen in this country for many a year.

Or perhaps I am wrong, which is a distinct possibility, and apathy will win again and more innocents will die and no-one will do anything real and constructive about it except do their protesting by 'liking' something on Facebook or wearing a wrist band.
