They are two COMPLETELY different topics. This thread is NOT about abortion, nor do I believe the death penalty and abortion have ANYTHING in common.

State sanctioned execution of someone for committing a crime against society is a completely different arguement to an individual choosing to abort a foetus.
Both may be considered barbaric by some but neither is relevant to each other when discussing the legal or moral rights or wrongs of each subject.
