Web browser hijacked by aliens?

Not sure if this is correct forum so feel free to move if necessary (like you need my permission right?)
I just typed "tilted" into the Google search box and while I was typing the entire screen actually tilted. Give it a try.
I did it twice to make sure it was not some glitch and sure enough the exact same thing happened both times.
The graphics and the borders on the screen (standard Chrome with search in middle) were pretty rough, like a really bad photo copy so I don't think the Google guys are responsible.

Works fine for me.

Why "aliens" and not something logical?

Aliens? Really? No, it's just a Google easter egg. It works if you type in "tilt" or "askew"

If you want to see something cool, type "do a barrel roll" in google search box.

It's just an easter egg as shown above.

It seems something might be askew with Google's privacy policy.

I might have to do a barrel roll out of their search engine.

It works when you type...

"do a barrel roll"

It did it before I even finished typing barrel... that's gonna mess with people pretty good.

Type in "google gravity" (without the quotes) and hit the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button

type in, do a barrel roll. in to google

google gravity, and click the first result.
i think its says something like mrdoob

there are a few other things it will do like snow and so on

I knew they did things with the graphics above the search box but I didn't know it worked with search terms as well. I will enjoy playing with this new information, thanks for the info.
